00:00How does it feel to be part of the historical transition in hip-hop?
00:03Because when you guys came in, Ben did everything.
00:06Everybody went towards your direction.
00:07I was very young to see the shit that I saw.
00:10That really put me on a path of not caring what people think
00:13and just being yourself, being true and honest to who you are and your expression.
00:17Truth and honesty is the most important part in your thing.
00:20So for me to look back and see all of that happen, taking risks.
00:25Yeah, dressing the way you're dressed.
00:26Yeah, that's what I mean, being true and honest in those moments.
00:29We had on dashikis, funny styles, kente cloth, pants.
00:34I think you're talking about the documentary with Black Thought.
00:37It was like, you know, they had questionable clothing.
00:40But see, you know what?
00:41It was beyond a dress.
00:42The dress was just a piece of it.
00:44The music was also an extent.
00:46It was the environment and the music.
00:47So the dress and how you looked was like,
00:50it just accentuated where you were at musically.
00:52You know what I'm saying?
00:53You are now entering the Who's House podcast.
