01:27We went on one date, and I saw this tall, dark, handsome man walk down the sidewalk.

02:26that is when coming to the beach, coming to North Padre Island is so important to us.
02:32And as we cross the causeway, that's when the peace comes.
02:38North Padre Island sits just off the eastern coast of Corpus Christi, Texas.
02:44And with the high humidity there, a 85-degree day can be a real spitz.
02:51We have worked so hard for so many years trying to make this dream come true.
02:57And we're finally on that path to realizing our dream of beach life.
03:06To find their cheap coastal cottage, these San Antonians are going to need a lively local real estate agent.

03:22What makes me different from any other agent out here anywhere is that I'm very authentic.

03:48Everyone in your family, no matter if they're this big or this big, they're going to have fun.
03:53It feels like you're kind of in a beach resort, but it still has that Texas vibe to it, that southern hospitality.
03:59But you're on the coast. You're on the water.
04:01The wonderful thing about Corpus is that you've got all price points here.
04:05You're going to have houses in the millions, but if you just move over just a smidge, you're going to have townhomes.
04:09You're going to have condos that could start at the 200s, which is extremely affordable.
04:13You're absolutely getting a million dollar view for a lot less down here.

04:26Minimum three bedrooms. And ideally, we would love for everyone to have their own bathroom if possible.
04:33We have a dog, and so we would like to have a yard. Ideally, we would like to be in the $300,000 or less price range.
04:42But if there is something that meets our family's needs, we would consider going up to about $400,000.

20:17We loved that it had a water terrace view.
20:21We loved the access to the city park and the two boat ramps in the neighborhood.
20:26And so we felt that that was a compromise that we were willing to work with.
20:30Sunset Harbor, our patio was very small and it had no water view.
20:36And we didn't end up choosing the village by the beach because of all of the flights of stairs.
20:42It just wasn't going to work for our family.
20:44The thing I'm most excited about this new house is this, the beach nearby.
20:52We can't wiggle our toes in our front yard or our backyard, but just a short walk away and it's there.
20:59They wanted $2.50 and we offered $2.40 cash and they accepted our offer.
21:05We finally have our beach house.
21:09My mom and my dad used to bring me here as a little girl.
21:12And now I'm able to bring them here and share the home with us and bring that memory full circle.
