Shantanu Shetigar, an Indian expat from Bangalore living in Muscat, Oman, won the $20 million (AED 73.6 million) jackpot in the Big Ticket lottery draw held in the UAE. Shetigar, who had been buying Big Ticket lottery tickets for the past five years, was announced as the winner during the live draw on January 20th. The winning ticket number was 305810. Shetigar expressed his surprise and gratitude upon learning of his massive win.
