00:00Today on Essence Live, we'll find out what some of Viola Davis' peers had to say about her epic Emmy win.
00:08Plus, Oscar winner Denzel Washington joins us with a very, very special guest and an announcement.
00:13And my favorite part of each and every show, Slade or Shade, we'll talk about August Alsina.
00:17And this is a steamy one, so you don't want to go anywhere, because Essence Live starts now.
00:30Welcome, welcome, welcome to this week's fabulous episode of Essence Live.
00:35Before we get started in this action-packed show today, I want to make sure I remind each and every one of you that I want to hear from you.
00:42So use hashtag Essence Live, Instagram, Twitter, Smoke Signal, whatever you have to do,
00:48so we can hear your thoughts and opinions on this week's show or any current events or happenings, because you never know.
00:53You might see your tweet in the show.
00:55So, last week, we introduced a very new and special segment called In 5 Tweet, where we're going to recap the hottest of the hot.
01:02And this week, it is our fierce First Lady, Michelle Obama, In 5 Tweets.
01:07Check it out.
01:15All right, getting us started with our very first tweet.
01:17At My Black Matters says, Michelle Obama is going to be on an episode of Doc McStuffins, hashtag representation matters, hashtag black girl magic.
01:26Which, that's actually my niece is one of her favorite shows, so I can't wait to see that episode.
01:30Next up, Sarah Woodrider says, Michelle Obama, that dress, the president's face, Nuff said.
01:37And I can't say, I can't do it anymore.
01:39Look at my hair.
01:40She looks fierce.
01:40Nick Wilkins says, petition to give Michelle Obama a third term as First Lady, regardless of who the next president is.
01:48Now, I'm not sure how President Obama will feel about that, Nick, but I actually think it's a good idea.
01:53And this next tweet is a recap from Michelle Obama's appearance on The Colbert Show, and it's actually one of my personal favorites.
01:59So, at Dottie O'Maw says, Colbert, is there anything you'd still like to do as a First Lady?
02:05Michelle Obama, I want to open a window, I want to go to Target, and I can't say I'm blaming you, FLOTUS.
02:11And last but certainly not least, Laura Hoff 24 states, there is no boy at this age that is cute enough or interesting enough to stop you from getting your education.
02:20And that's a direct quote from our First Lady that's been taking over social media and digital media everywhere.
02:26And that's how our FLOTUS has been dominating in five tweets.
02:35And speaking of a woman dominating, because we are always about some fierce female power here, Essence cover girl Viola Davis has definitely been slaying it lately.
02:47She was recently on Jimmy Kimmel Live giving us a really cute story about sending her mom to the casino, specifically on Thursdays, so she would not see her more provocative scenes on how to get away with murder.
02:58And speaking of which, I have a spoiler alert, so you may, you know, if you didn't watch last week's episode, put us on mute just for a quick second.
03:05Viola showed off her acting skills with a very shocking and intimate scene with fellow actress Famke Johnson.
03:11And she definitely did her thing. It's evident why she receives an Emmy.
03:15Last weekend, Essence, along with Entertainment Weekly and People Magazine, held a party celebrating the return of hashtag TGIT.
03:22And our West Coast editor, Regina Robertson, talked to a few Shondaland cast members on that fabulous red carpet.
03:28Check out what they had to say about Viola's epic and historic win.
03:32I think Viola deserves everything in the world.
03:35Hardest working woman in showbiz right now, Viola Davis.
03:39I've never been so happy for someone. You know, obviously, she's one of the hardest working people I've ever met.
03:45And I mean, her acceptance speech.
03:48Was magnificent. It was great.
03:50That was an amazing moment.
03:50I mean, I always feel like whenever Viola opens her mouth, it's a master class in how to give a speech.
03:54The pride and the admiration and the gratitude I feel for her using that moment to say what she said.
04:01I just wanted to hold her and just let her know how much I loved her and how much her speech meant to me.
04:07It was just so heartfelt and genuine and kind of extraordinary.
04:13What she said was so beautiful and so moving and so true.
04:16And it was just wonderful to hear her say it.
04:18All right, Essence, we have a little throwback Thursday magic feature for you guys.
04:23Back in 2012, Viola Davis graced the cover of Essence and talked about what black women meant to her.
04:28Take a look.
04:29Every time I read and look at Essence magazine, for me, it represents everything that's wonderful about us as black people and black women.
04:43Our beauty, our inner, outer beauty, our talent.
04:48It's a celebration of who we are as women.
04:51So for me, I feel like that I've arrived at a certain point in my career, in my life, where I have become a symbol of something for African American women that possibly inspires them.
05:11And that makes me feel good because I know that I lived on inspiration at a time when there was nothing around me to hold on to, to kind of ground my dreams in reality.
05:23And I survived on that because the American story for me is rooted in forgiveness.
05:29It's rooted in hope, it's rooted in dreams, dreams of people who have nothing and the hope that the dreams could come true and fighting obstacles in order to achieve them.
05:44And if anyone knows that, it's us.
05:46I mean, that's just who we are.
05:48And I think that it's time for us not to just be 12.5% of the population and just a part of the 100% population.
06:00That's why it's important.
06:01We're people.
06:02Look for me in the August issue of Essence magazine.
06:05This is Viola Davidson watching Essence TV.

06:47Welcome, welcome, welcome back to Essence Live.
07:04I have a very special guest joining me in studio today.
07:07We have an Oscar winner, red carpet dominator, if you will, blockbusters, powerhouse, joining us, Mr. Denzel Washington.
07:17How are you?
07:19I'm good.
07:20I'm going to get a t-shirt.
07:21Doesn't he like that?
07:21I like to get creative.
07:22Red carpet dominator.
07:23We're talking about a cause that's very close to your heart, the Boys and Girls Club of America.
07:29That's right.
07:29So you've been a spokesperson for the organization for over 20 years, but the BGCA has also been a part of your life since you were six years old when you first started going to your local branch in Mount Vernon, New York.
07:40At that age, most youth are going to a program because they have to, if you will.
07:44But what was it about BGCA that captured your attention at such a young age and was able to keep your attention, you know, especially through those teen years and those high school years?
07:53They were actually building the club. I think I was either in kindergarten or the first grade when they were building the building.
07:59So I would pass it every day, wondering what it was going to be and what was going to go on over there.
08:05And as I found out, you know, the first thing I said to my mother, you know, I wanted to join. I wanted to be a part of it.
08:12So I've been a part of it for 50 years or something or more.
08:17Was there a particular program that spoke to you? Was it like a workshop or a mentor that you...
08:21No, no. Initially, I think it was just a place to go play.
08:25And, you know, the cool thing about it was nobody said, oh, you're learning these life lessons.
08:32You know, you're thinking you just go to play ball or run around, do this and that.
08:35But really, you were learning about working together as a team, being a gracious winner and loser.
08:42There's all kinds of life lessons that you learn through what you think is just play.
08:48And those are some powerful life lessons that can carry anyone very far all the way through adulthood.
08:52And I love the new PSA.
08:54You've gathered a great group of celebrities and influencers who are impacted by the Boys and Girls Club.
08:59There's Jennifer Lopez, Misty Copeland, Kerry Washington, Shaquille O'Neal, Cuba Gooding Jr., just to name a few.
09:05My favorite takeaway from the piece is a quote where you say, while many doors open, these doors transform.
09:12How do you feel you were transformed through the organization?
09:16Wow. I mean, you know, in so many ways.
09:19Just in so many ways.
09:21I mean, how do you... I mean, that's a good question for you.
09:23Okay.
09:24How have you been transformed?
09:26Oh, and before we say you, would you like to introduce who is joining you, the newly announced winner?
09:31If you would like to introduce her, Mr. Washington.
09:32You go ahead. That sounded pretty good, the newly announced.
09:37I am the National Youth of the Year for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
09:42Woo!
09:43Yeah.
09:43Thank you. Thanks. Thank you.
09:45Congratulations. And I don't want to downplay that at all.
09:48I've been doing some research, and it's quite a process to become the winner.
09:52So tell us about your journey.
09:53Right. So when I started going to the Boys and Girls Club, I was definitely in a very dark place just because of the struggles that I dealt with at home.
10:03And I didn't really think that my life mattered at that point.
10:07I didn't think that I had a purpose in this life.
10:11But when I started going to the Boys and Girls Club, the staff that I met, you know, really showed me that, you know, I have potential to be somebody great.
10:20And I can lead and inspire people to, you know, really see their fullest potential as well.
10:29So, I mean, I was going from being this person who didn't believe in themselves and didn't believe in the value of their life and, like, my goals, to being able to lead and now succeed.
10:43Because we got in and we never left.
10:47And that's a blessing.
10:48There you go. And once you're a club kid, you're always a club kid. It's awesome.
10:52You're not always a kid, but you're always a club kid.
10:55You're always a club kid.
10:56You can be a kid at heart.
10:56There's a difference. There you go.
10:58And so being the title holder, if you will, there's scholarship funds that are available now to you.
11:03What does winning this mean for you and your next steps?
11:06I mean, it's great because through partners like Disney, I've been able to pursue higher education.
11:15I mean, it's something that, for me, would have been impossible just because it wasn't something that my family was able to afford or is able to afford at all.
11:26But, you know, it's amazing because I'm able to take a step in the right direction and eventually be able to give back to my family and eventually my Boys and Girls Club family at large just to say thank you.
11:44You know, and a great way to say thank you, I think, is just to reach out to your local Boys and Girls Clubs and get involved with the youth there because it's amazing how much just having somebody to mentor you and show that you care really does in a kid's life.
12:03Definitely true. I was not a member of the Boys and Girls Club, but the value of having a mentor and someone take an interest in you and your future and your development, it really is pivotal.
12:11And it's not too late to volunteer.
12:14There you go.
12:15Denzel, I wanted to ask you, what did you learn while there are any key, I guess you could say, values and takeaways from Boys and Girls Club that you instilled in your children?
12:26Because we're seeing them take off in social media, digital media, press, and kicking butt in their own respective careers.
12:31What did you take from growing up and instilling them?
12:35You know, I thought I was just playing games like basketball or ping pong or this or that, but really I was being given a structure and a blueprint, if you will, for life.
12:49I've tried to do that, we've tried, my wife and I've tried to do that for our children.
12:56I mean, for me, athletics was a big part of my young life, so I got all of my children, my daughters and my sons, involved in sports at an early age so they could learn those lessons that I learned at the Boys and Girls Club.
13:11Well, thank you very much, Denzel Washington, and Whitney, congratulations so much on your win.
13:17I know you've worked hard and I know you're going to go forward and make us proud.
13:19To find out more information on how you can get involved in the Boys and Girls Club of America, as well as read more about Whitney, check out the new PCA, and on how you can volunteer and get involved, go to bgca.org.
13:32Thank you very much and don't go anywhere, there will be more Essence Live coming up next.
13:41Thank you very much.
14:11Welcome back to Essence Live.
14:21Now let's get into my favorite part of the entire show.
14:23It is time for Slade or Shade.
14:26I'm trying to come up with a hand gesture for this.
14:28All right, so first up, you've seen him here before throwing shade, media personality, the one and only Mr. Ray Holiday.
14:33How are you?
14:34I'm great, how are you?
14:35I'm fabulous, thank you for coming back.
14:37I appreciate being here.
14:37Are you ready to shade?
14:38Are you ready to slishade since you like this because you can never make your mind up?
14:42A little combo, yeah, yeah, I'm ready.
14:44No stranger to the show, but new to the Slater Shade couches, we have Essence's beauty and style director, Pamela Edwards-Cristiani.
14:51Welcome.
14:51Hola.
14:52Welcome to Slater Shade.
14:53I'm very happy to do this.
14:54I hope you're ready to throw.
14:54I love this board.
14:56You know, it's nothing like a good prop.
14:57I matched it with my house.
14:58It's a good prop.
14:59She's showing off.
14:59Our next guest is one of the first Slater Shade panelists, author of Don't Waste Your Pretty, Demetria Lucas-Doyley.
15:06Welcome back to the show.
15:07Hello, boo.
15:07How are you?
15:08I'm fabulous, and you're giving fabulous smokey eyes.
15:10Thank you, darling.
15:11I'm loving everything you're giving me.
15:12We'll talk late after the show.
15:14All right, so I also want to give a little plug and reminder out there to you guys, our at-home panelists, or at work, but we're not going to tell everybody that you're watching at work.
15:21Please use hashtag Essence Live to join the conversation.
15:24Okay, so let's get started.
15:26A couple of young women have recently accused a London nightclub of refusing them entry because of their looks and race.
15:33Now they've started a whole social media campaign and have been protesting.
15:37The nightclub manager reportedly denied that he did any such thing, but the topic has social media all worked up.
15:43So, on the count of three, I want to know if you think this is a slay or a shade.
15:47One, two, three, slay or shade?
15:48Oh, slay, shade and slay.
15:50All right, Ray, I'm going to start with you.
15:51Why is this a slay?
15:53I think if we can't go to Belay Noche, where can we go?
15:57If we can't go to Belay Noche, if we can't go to Belay Noche, where can we go?
16:02I love the fact that they're using social media for this platform.
16:07Black Lives Matters and Nightlife Matters, too.
16:09And so, I'm all in.
16:11I feel like if we would just stick together more on these, we would be able to get in clubs all over the world.
16:16Like the Belay Noche.
16:17And Pam, you said it was a shade or?
16:21Well, look, the shade is to the nightclub folks that obviously put them up against the wall, said someone was too dark, said the biracial one can go in.
16:28I'm shading that situation, but of course I'm going to slay power to the people.
16:31I'm all about that.
16:32So, I'm shading the situation and how it was handled.
16:35But slaying the people who were taking action.
16:36And how they took, that's right, and how they responded.
16:38Noted.
16:39Yes.
16:39Demetria.
16:40So, the nightclub owners are shady, shameful, sloppy, scandalous, and 50 million other things that are horrible.
16:46I can't believe they treated those ladies that way.
16:48But I love that the women have taken action.
16:51They didn't just protest and go tell their friends or whatever.
16:54They took it online and let people know.
16:56So, I hope that the nightclub is hit in their pockets and eventually shuts down.
16:59And I hope that we stick together on this one.
17:01You know, sometimes we have a habit of raising a ruckus and then it kind of dies out and we move on to the next thing.
17:05You know what I mean?
17:06Like, I hope that we stick this one out.
17:08And this is kind of an issue that's been happening quite a bit here in the United States for a while.
17:13For a long time.
17:14You see, like, the dark-skinned, light-skinned flyers and all that.
17:16Okay, so anyway, we can talk about that more.
17:18All right, so next up, a meme of President Obama and First Lady Michelle at the China State Dinner next to a picture of Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson and his wife, Latina, a.k.a. Candy, went viral over the weekend.
17:30The meme mimics popular DirecTV commercials that makes fun of its competitors and portrays them as inferior.
17:36So, in the photo, President Obama is wearing a tuxedo and Michelle is wearing a Vera Wang gown, while Ben Carson is wearing a suit and his wife is in a less flattering and dated ensemble.
17:45The meme was created to particularly poke fun at the looks of Carson's wife, and comments were extremely, extremely mean-spirited.
17:51So, okay, guys, what are your feelings on this one?
17:55Slate or shade?
17:56Shade, shade, slate.
17:58Okay.
17:58Now, Demetria, you recently wrote a feature on this very particular subject, so I'm going to start with you.
18:03Yeah, I wrote a feature for The Root about it.
18:05I saw the meme and I thought it was absolutely terrible.
18:08I feel that Candy is not a candidate for president.
18:11She just happens to be married to one, and she needs to be left out of the conversation.
18:15It's his platform, not hers.
18:17That said, she could have used a little update on that look.
18:22It's true.
18:23It's true.
18:24It's true.
18:24Just a little bit.
18:24That's true.
18:25I'm not going to criticize her overall, but I feel like she is in the spotlight.
18:30She is going to get the attention.
18:32Step it up just a little bit.
18:33Because technically, not to cut you off, but technically, First Lady is a very big job as well.
18:38It's kind of like a two-for-one combo plate, like a package.
18:42So even if she needs to get some combination.
18:45She's not running, but she's going to be in the spotlight.
18:48She could use it as a stylist.
18:51Okay.
18:51Okay.
18:52All right.
18:52I like that.
18:52All right.
18:53Pam?
18:54So I shade the universe in the media for always focusing on the looks of women.
18:57It doesn't matter whether she's running or not running.
18:59It's always the first thing that anyone talks about.
19:01So I have a major shade for that.
19:03Agreed.
19:03However, I really shade the camp of Ben Carson for not having her ready for primetime.
19:07And I have a real problem with that.
19:09This is a huge platform.
19:10We can't just come sit here and not do anything and not put a...
19:13I mean, we can't.
19:14That's true.
19:14That is a huge platform.
19:16They should have gotten her ready for primetime.
19:18I mean, that's just basic.
19:19Hair and makeup should just be part of the whole thing.
19:21And that is not her fault.
19:22I really do.
19:23I'm shading the camp for not getting her ready.
19:26They didn't get her ready for what she's about to jump into.
19:28I think people fail to realize, like, they're going to analyze your first kindergarten report card.
19:31I mean, it was the day he announced.
19:33It was back in May.
19:34It was the day he announced that he was running for president.
19:36She was on the main stage.
19:38Like, she should have had a fierce beat, a fierce snatch, a good heel.
19:41Yeah.
19:41Like, yes.
19:42She didn't even have a good friend to say, girl, you need to come see so-and-so at Slump.
19:46There you go.
19:47Ray, your thoughts?
19:48Wait, what were you?
19:48You were slayed.
19:50I slayed it because I'm hoping that she'll read these comments and get it together.
19:56You're right.
19:57She's not running for the president.
19:59But she did run up there on that stage.
20:01She did run up on the stage.
20:02It looked like she was just the clothes were just on the hanger.
20:04So he could have had a hanger.
20:05It was the same thing.
20:06I'm just saying, President Michelle Obama has set an amazing toll for the last eight years.
20:14She is regal.
20:15She is amazing.
20:16And it's not like she's this high fashion.
20:18She's high, she's low, but she gives it to you in a way that's just so perfect.
20:22Candy don't have TV?
20:23I'm just confused.
20:24Well, let's say that Michelle Obama, when she came out the gate, was not the glamorous Vera
20:30Wayne gown Michelle Obama that we have now.
20:32So there is definitely hope and potential progress for Candy.
20:36And let's add, too, that Barack Obama was still a senator before.
20:39So she still understood being in the spotlight.
20:42Candy is a real estate agent, and he is a surgeon.
20:45So, like, she is, you know, I'm saying she's just, I'm just, I'm a surgeon.
20:48She never had to go to the dentist's apartment.
20:50But being photographed in public all the time, you have to have your uniform ready.
20:54Like, that's something that a politician's wife knows.
20:56And even before Michelle was first lady, she still knew that.
20:59The kids had to be right.
21:01Like, you know, Candy's got to get that this is politics, and it is what it is.
21:04This is the main thing.
21:04This is the main thing.
21:05This is the main thing.
21:06This is the main thing.
21:06This is the main thing.
21:07This is the main thing.
21:07Let's lay her into that state of mind.
21:09All right, so let's check in with Facebook and not Ray and see what you all are saying on this topic.
21:13Debbie Eaton says, you have to dress the part when you're publicly presenting yourself.
21:17Mrs. Carson needs a makeover.
21:20Well, I mean, and we could do a tasteful makeover without going, like, Lady Gaga or something.
21:24Like, I'm saying we don't have to go in an extreme, but, you know, a good pencil skirt ain't ever hurt nobody.
21:29I'm just saying.
21:29Now, usually we have hot topics in Slater's shade that, for the most part, most of the time have two different sides.
21:35They're either a sleigh or they're in a shade.
21:38But we can't forget the occasional slush shade where panelists are torn between the two sides.
21:45However, there are some topics that are just so egregious and deserve all kinds of shade.
21:49Insert August Alsina.
21:51So his recent concert, during his performance, he brought a female fan on stage to serenade her, but ended up doing a little more than just singing.
21:59While behind the fan, August proceeded to grope her breasts.
22:02The clip of the groping went viral and social media blasted August for sexually assaulting the young lady.
22:07It's unclear on whether the young lady was okay with it or uncomfortable.
22:11Nonetheless, following the criticism, August posted a screenshot of a photo from the alleged female fan who posted a photo of the incident with the caption,
22:18hashtag, oh, excuse me, and I quote,
22:20Last night, don't owe me anything, featuring August Alsina.
22:24He gave the fan a shout-out, calling her a beautiful young lady and slammed all his, quote, ignorant and weak haters.
22:31Ray, can you pull yourself together for this one, please?
22:33All right, so, thoughts on the shade of the day?
22:38I'm assuming everybody thinks it's a shade.
22:40It's a shade of the day.
22:41It's our shade of the day.
22:42Pam, if I can put my card down, I'll start with you, Pam.
22:45We shade public breast groping.
22:47That's what we shade.
22:49I am fine with two consenting adults.
22:50They can do whatever they want to.
22:52But let's just be clear that in this era of men not knowing sometimes what lines to cross,
22:58in this era of date rape, in this era of all these issues with roofies.
23:03And I think we need to just understand that that's not appropriate.
23:06I mean, first of all, he didn't know her.
23:08True.
23:09So he's groping someone he doesn't know.
23:10So are we telling other boys, you can grope someone you don't know if it's all cool and it's all...
23:13As long as she thinks you're cute.
23:14It just sends the wrong message.
23:15It just sends the wrong message.
23:16Demetria?
23:16So here's my thing.
23:18If he came on stage with her, you know, Janet used to bring the men on stage.
23:21I was going to ask that, yes.
23:22So if he brought the woman on stage and he said, I'd like to do some things to you, do you mind?
23:27And the woman said, do with me what you will.
23:29Then I don't really have a problem with it.
23:31It's just that there didn't seem to be any consent.
23:33And to the woman's credit or his credit, the woman doesn't seem offended by it.
23:37But I would just like to see some consent involved here.
23:39That's all I'm asking.
23:41That's fair enough.
23:41Because when we're talking at our production meeting, I'm like, you know, some of these young ladies look awfully mature.
23:46Do they know for fact she was over 18?
23:48Was there somebody on the side saying, ma'am, I need to see an idea.
23:50Ray, as the only male up here, I'm not going to jump you now, but what you think?
23:57He definitely molested her.
23:58I mean, her shirt, she should have been topless.
24:02I mean, because in his mind, she just completely ignored the shirt.
24:06Completely.
24:07I think my real issue is this conversation that we need to have with our daughters.
24:12Because if she's on Instagram, like, listen, I mean, I know y'all mad, but I'm going to get his hands tattooed right here.
24:18And this one, I don't remember this, that's the real, that's not the real issue, but that's a huge issue.
24:24So I think it goes into that conversation where we need to be like, okay, boo, you going to the August Alcina concert?
24:29Let me sit you down right now.
24:31And if he calls you on stage and that happens, I'm going to kill him and you and we'll be good.
24:35And we'll have that conversation.
24:36I think there is an accountability that also goes with her because she should have definitely could have been in that spot.
24:42Like, she's like, okay, move your hair.
24:44We're on stage and there's a lot of people watching it.
24:46And it's one of those things where, too, like, she was definitely put on the spot.
24:49So it's like, you know, you have hundreds of thousands of people looking at you like, what are you supposed to do?
24:53And you can go in shock and just not do anything.
24:55She doesn't mean that she was okay just because she didn't say no.
24:58Like, she's probably like, is he touching my, you know, like, everyone responds differently.
25:01It's not sexy, not as romantic, but get some consent.
25:04And if there's some consent and I'm at the concert and some things go down, we all grown.
25:08We all grown.
25:09I'm fine with consent.
25:10Now, I have to ask this before we cut out.
25:13You brought up Janet Jackson bringing the men up on stage.
25:15Do you think there's a double standard there?
25:16So we've seen Destiny's Child do the lap dances.
25:19We've seen different female artists do lap dances and provocative things with gentlemen on stage.
25:23But we haven't really raised too much of a qualm about it.
25:26Do you think that there's a double standard and anyone can take this?
25:29All those men seem really happy on that stage, though.
25:31Like, they seem like, I'm going to tie you up.
25:33Okay.
25:33All right.
25:34I'm going to do a lap dance.
25:35Here's how it's that.
25:36Right.
25:36Yeah.
25:37Yeah.
25:37He was happy.
25:38We got a tub of whipped cream in the back.
25:39Sure.
25:39Sure.
25:40The women are more like dancing.
25:42They're not like gyrating and popping and, you know, it's not going there.
25:46What are they doing right?
25:46It's not Magic City with it.
25:49It's like it's not Magic City.
25:50No, it's not Magic City with it.
25:51It's not Magic City.
25:51But I feel like if it got Magic City with it, I wouldn't be offended, but I would understand why people are offended.
25:56Okay.
25:57All right.
25:57Fair enough.
25:57Pam?
25:58I think the bottom line, and I'm getting very women's studies on this, but the bottom line is I think it isn't as easy for a woman to rape a man as it is for the, you know, vice versa.
26:08So simply just knowing that that's the fact, I think, and men are wired differently, and I just think we, I think these are apples and oranges.
26:16And I don't know if you can always say double standard when you're really comparing two different beings who respond to sex differently.
26:21I just think, you know, it's just different for guys, you know what I mean?
26:25And then, and obviously they had to, they were volunteers.
26:27I'm sure Janet Jackson, I'm sure they were all assed.
26:29I'm like, yeah, yeah.
26:30Right, right, right.
26:30So that's very different than, okay, I'm going upstairs.
26:33Then, oh, he's touching me.
26:34Like, you know, what did you, you know, see, it's on my shirt.
26:35I think it's very different.
26:36Almost popped out, almost all areola.
26:37I think it's very different, yeah.
26:38Got it.
26:38Exactly.
26:38Noted and noted.
