00:05Mia Jones, only 20 years old, riding out of Palisades, Tahoe.
00:09She's leading the Freeride World Tour overall rankings in her rookie season.
00:15Hadley, she's 20, and she's riding like this.
00:18The skill set that this woman has is absolutely incredible.
00:21It's really awesome to see, and also every time you see Mia, she's so excited to ride.
00:27She's one of those riders that this week was coming back at the very end of the day, riding the road down from the resort after it had closed.
00:35Snowboarding is in her heart, and it's clear as she just makes quick, simple, precision-like work of that couloir.
00:42And now picking up a ton of speed.
00:45I think one of the trademarks that we're starting to see Mia develop is at high speed, she still looks really comfortable.
00:52Never looks really rattled by the pace.
00:54She's able to just kind of throw the hand out, and you see it in her brother, Cass, is riding.
00:58Obviously, her parents, her dad is a legend in Freeride.
01:01But Mia Jones making her own way here in the Freeride World and looking really solid on this face as she comes down towards the lower section.
01:11So far looking picture perfect.

01:15Yeah, we're really seeing why she is already podiuming in her first year on the Freeride World Tour.
01:20Just such great commitment and strong riding.

01:28A huge powder carve and coming right out of the steepest section.

01:34Maybe the fastest run we've seen today from Mia Jones.

01:39I mean, that top section again, 47 degrees, and she handles it no problem, like a boss.
01:46That turn was incredible.
01:49So precise, so technical, and coming out of the powder cloud.
01:52A big air there.
01:54So we're seeing technique and fluidity absolutely pumping the line high.
01:59You know, maybe the one thing you could say was Erin's style.
02:01Not a lot of tricks in that run, but I feel she just went for the pure Freeride approach.
02:06Exactly, really showing that she is strong on her board.
02:10Quite an extracurricular activity for this woman that is at Dartmouth becoming a doctor.
02:15Yeah, I mean, it's just incredible what these athletes are able to achieve on top of their athletic performances.

02:43I mean, take away all the competitive aspect, but that run looked like a lot of fun.
