00:00This here is Hangbot's Sirius robot dog. It's very active. It's very fun. It's very new. It's
00:07coming out this Christmas. It's not a cheap robot dog. $700 to $800 on Kickstarter. $900 to $1,000
00:13when it's finally released. But boy, does this guy do a lot. So we've got all these motors. We've
00:18got 14 motors, three per joint here. These are actually just spring-loaded. There's a few motors
00:23in the head. The touchscreen, so I can actually touch and interact with it. It's constantly in
00:28motion. This is also a fully programmable device, right? So it's going to be an interface where you
00:34can upload different routines. You can control it for a joystick. You can control it from a PC. You
00:39control it from an iPhone, from an iPad, or you can control it with your voice. It does have an AI
00:45on board. So it's a large language model, so you can converse with it and tell it what you want it
00:50to do. It's actually using Amazon's large language model, which is kind of smart. So it'll be doing
00:55a lot of that in the cloud. It doesn't have to do it locally. And every once in a while,
00:58it needs to lie down and take a little nap. 45 minutes of power. You charge it up in about 40
01:02minutes. Don't take it out in the rain. But, you know, you can customize the lights. You can customize
01:08the personality. If you want to upload the personality and bring it down to a new one,
01:12when you get a new one, you can do that too. It is the start for Hangbot of something big because
01:17they want to build all kinds of robot animals. I just hope they get some nice fur on this guy.
01:23He has a lot. Look at him. He's a lot of fun. So that's Hangbot Sirius. We're checking it
01:29out for the first time today. And don't forget, for more cool tech gadgets, stick with techradar.com.
01:35What a good dog.
