00:00For the second time in less than a year, tensions between the U.S. and Iran are skyrocketing.
00:24And now, Tehran has sent a stark warning, any attack on the country or its people will
00:30be met with an immediate and decisive response.
00:34Iranian President Masoud Pazeshkian made the declaration during a phone call with the President
00:39of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
00:44He stressed that while Iran does not want war, it will fiercely defend itself against
00:49any aggression.
00:51Pazeshkian said Iran seeks dialogue based on international law, mutual respect and diplomacy,
00:58not threats.
00:59But he warned that hostile actions, from military attacks to economic coercion, will be met instantly
01:05and decisively.
01:07The warning comes as a U.S. naval strike group has been operating in the region since Monday.
01:13President Trump has publicly stated that the fleet is ready, willing and able to strike
01:18Iran if necessary.
01:20Trump has threatened that if negotiations fail, any U.S. strike could be far worse than last
01:26year's June 2025 attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, a clear signal of the military
01:32options on the table.
01:34Pazeshkian also accused the United States and Israel of hostile measures against Iran, including
01:40sanctions, past military actions, and supporting domestic unrest.
01:45He said protecting Iran's security and establishing stability in the region remain top priorities.
01:52On the diplomatic front, the UAE says it is working to ease tensions.
01:57President Al Nahyan praised Iran's commitment to dialogue and expressed his country's readiness
02:02to support constructive negotiations aimed at peace and stability.
02:08With the U.S. fleet nearby, Iran's warning is a reminder, diplomacy may be welcome, but
02:14Tehran will not hesitate to respond if attacked.
