God is my shelter when I’m in pain,
My strong tower through sun and rain.
Even if the earth should shake,
I’ll stand firm, for heaven’s sake.
Mountains fall into the sea,
Waters roar so wild and free.
Still I won’t be scared today,
‘Cause my Lord won’t walk away.
The Lord is here, I will not fall,
His river of life restores it all.
He’s my rescue, He’s my song,
The God of Jacob keeps me strong.
He lifts His voice, the earth stands still,
Nations shake, but He’s God still.
Kingdoms crumble, fear must cease,
But in His hands, I find my peace.
He breaks the bow, brings war to end,
Calls us to trust, to rest, to bend.
He’ll be praised in every land,
The Lord of Hosts makes His stand.
The Lord is here, I will not fall,
