🎬Homeless Hare is a 1950 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies animated short directed by Chuck Jones and written by Michael Maltese, starring Bugs Bunny. The story follows Bugs Bunny after his peaceful rabbit hole is destroyed by a steam shovel at a skyscraper construction site. Bugs pleads with the muscular construction worker-whom he nicknames "Hercules"-to restore his home. Instead, the worker rudely dumps Bugs into a truck and buries him under a pile of bricks. Declaring "This means war!", Bugs spends the rest of the short tormenting the worker with construction-themed gags. He tampers with elevator controls, drops girders, and disguises himself as a project engineer to trick the worker into building a precarious structure.
