The Co-operative Credit Union League of Trinidad and Tobago is demanding a public apology from the Central Bank, following comments made about the sector during a recent Joint Select Committee meeting.

The League says the remarks misrepresented the credit union movement and is also questioning why the sector had no representation at the parliamentary hearing.

Rynessa Cutting reports.
