00:00Right now what you see on your television screen is the European Union contingent, the four flag bearers there and all of that, Sandeep, to also honor our two guests who are, you know, in terms, who are our chief guests for the 26th Republic Day, the 77th Republic Day.
00:19Yes. And, you know, the European Union, a very, very key partner of India, a trade partner and soon to be a defense partner as well. And that honors their presence there. Two of the three most significant officials of the European Union are chief guests today, Antonio Costa and Ursula von der Leyen.
00:40And there you have the 61 cavalry for the first time, Preeti. This is for the first time that the 61 cavalry is being on horseback in combat gear.
00:50And that shows their reorientation towards combat. The whole Indian army, in fact, is coming together to fight the kind of conventional warfare that we have, the Indian army is meant to fight.
01:03And this is very, very important signaling over there because you, in the last five or six years, you have seen China deploying its mounted cavalry.
01:13Believe it or not, in 2026, mounted cavalry is still important because they can patrol areas where even vehicles can't go.
01:21And that is a kind of, you know, symbology of this marching contingent from the 61st cavalry. It's one of the very few such cavalry units anywhere in the world.
01:34All right. Next, the high mobility wrecky vehicles led by Lieutenant Arjun Gasha.
01:42And, you know, Sandeep, to reflect on that, India's first indigenously designed armored light specialist vehicles, developed by Mahindra Defense Systems and commissioned in 2023, were a huge part where Operation Cindy was concerned.
01:58Yes, absolutely. And these light strike vehicles, these high mobility vehicles, they're basically wrecky vehicles.
02:04They move ahead of formations and you can see them there armed with drones and anti-tank missiles.
02:11They move ahead. They look for the enemy. They spot the enemy. They fix the enemy's positions.
02:17And then, of course, allow for the follow-on forces to come and engage them.
02:22So, those are our Apaches. Those are our helicopter gunships that we've acquired from the United States.
02:35Those colors are the desert camouflage colors shows that they are from the army.
02:42And those are Arjun Tanks.
02:45The Dharud Formation.
02:47Yes. And we're back to ground forces.
02:50There you have that very interesting thing, Preeti.
02:52I want to draw your attention to what you're seeing over there.
02:55Those are cope cages.
02:56These are actually anti-drone measures that tanks all over the world have had to adopt over the last five or six years to protect themselves from drones.
03:06And this is called cope cages.
03:08There are various names for it. But this is the reality of combat where tanks are being hunted by drones, first-person-view drones.
03:15That's a T-90 tank. And that's an Arjun tank.
03:20Indigenous. One is an indigenous tank.
03:22This is a T-90 tank.
03:52This is a T-90 tank.
04:15This is a special person who is full of executive officials who think this is possible to allow
04:26the people to do their job.
04:31After the team has trained to fight with the connections.
04:38and
