01:04What will be the next blasphemous shape to be forced into Minecraft?

01:14We released the Caves and Cliffs update.
01:17We asked the developers if any glitches occurred while developing this update.
01:21Of the 10 billion and 8 they submitted, here are some of our favourites.
01:27Minecraft's witches must have dirt on one of the developers
01:30as this glitch turned all the leaves in the trees into cauldrons.
01:33Can you imagine the worldwide scandal if we'd left this in the game?
01:39Oh, that website has caused us nothing but trouble.

01:46Minecraft Dungeons turned one year old.
01:56And just like an actual one year old, raising it's been a bit of a nothing worse.
02:00These hoglins seem to have learnt how to fly.
02:04Just like I planned to fly to Canada to lie low for a while
02:07when the Minecraft Dungeons development team find out I leaked this.
02:12Still, we managed to iron out all those glitches,

02:46the only breakout star is the repulsive, lava-spewing monster who never speaks.

02:55we discovered someone had built Mobbo.

03:35let's remember, it's what's inside that counts.

03:43I'd delete Minecraft immediately.

04:17This glitch also led to shipwrecks spawning in the desert instead of the sea.

04:32Deep Slate came to Minecraft this year
04:35and was just as deep and slaty as we promised.
04:38However, you may have noticed we changed its original name,
04:42which was Grimstone.
04:44We changed the name because the word Grim is describing a feeling
04:47instead of describing what the block actually is.
04:51We don't want to enforce feelings with our block names.
04:54How those non-sentient blocks of feelings
04:56should be up to player interpretation.
04:59That's why we changed the name of this block too.

05:05This is the new grove biome.
05:07We were having trouble getting trees to generate there
05:09and we worried that eagle-eyed pedantic players
05:12might notice if something called a grove
05:15didn't have any trees in it.
05:17But fret not, we fixed it.
05:19We filled the grove with trees
05:21and more trees growing on top of those trees.
05:24Oh, trees, what have we ever done to you?
05:29Apart from developing a video game
05:31that encouraged people to punch you.
05:33One.
05:34We've had a lot of fun looking at the glitches
05:36in Caves and Cliffs development today.
05:38Well, I've had fun.
05:40But honestly, we couldn't be prouder of the work
05:42our developers did crafting this update
05:44in another really tough year to make games.
05:47So here's to another year of Minecraft
05:49and thank you developers for all your hard work.
05:54Forget nurses and firemen.
05:56You people are the real heroes.
