00:00You would have heard the term Aastik and Nastik.
00:03Do you know the real meaning of these two words?
00:06Aastik is not someone who believes in God.
00:10Belief has no place in real spirituality or Vedanta.
00:15A believer is not a religious person at all.
00:19A religious person is an inquisitive one.
00:21A religious person is one who asks questions.
00:24So if you want to really know the truth of everything,
00:28then you are Aastik.
00:30Whereas if you just believe in some fairy tale, some story,
00:33something that your seniors, your parents, the tradition and the society gave you,
00:37you are a Aastik.
00:38Majority of people who call themselves Aastiks are simply believers.
00:43And a believer is Aastik of the worst kind.
