00:00Welcome back. Breaking news. Trump announcing Tom Homan will be meeting with Jacob Frye tomorrow.
00:05As if the chaos in Minneapolis wasn't enough, Democrats are ready to take it nationwide.
00:10Chuck Schumer is threatening another government shutdown unless Homeland Security funding,
00:14including billions for ICE, is stripped from a funding package. And now more than half of
00:19the House Democrats back an impeachment push against DHS Chief Kristi Noem.
00:25ICE needs to be abolished. It cannot be reformed. And Kristi Noem must be impeached.
00:33Are you prepared to vote against DHS funding if it means partially shutting down the government?
00:40Well, I'm not giving ICE or Border Patrol another dime.
00:43We have to pull that lever. That's the lever we have at this moment in time.
00:47Kristi Noem, frankly, should go.
00:49I can't vote for a bill that includes ICE funding under these circumstances.
00:52We need to impeach Kristi Noem.
00:55We have a bill about funding them, giving them more money. I'm not voting for that.
01:00Noem's got to go.
01:03Dana, I understand. They're pulling the levers they have in front of them.
01:07They've already given ICE $75 million for the next four years.
01:10They're not going to, if of anything, they're not defunding ICE.
01:13So the Democrats have really painted themselves into a corner here.
01:16And one of the things Chuck Schumer needs to be able to show his people is that they can get achievable wins, right?
01:22That they could advance the ball down the field, get the first down, and get there so that they can figure out a way to, like, survive the midterms or, as he hopes, to try to take back the Senate.
01:31Right now, though, he has to look at the activist online base.
01:35And they are saying, shut down the government, no more money for ICE.
01:38But nobody in the Democratic Party can explain to the activists that you've already funded ICE through 2029.
01:45So if you shut down the government on Friday because you don't want to give Department of Homeland Security any more money, well, you can take FEMA money away from people in the middle of a snowstorm if you want.
01:57Or you could take money away from the TSA when people are trying to escape the snowstorm when we've got 22,000 canceled flights today.
02:04Like, you could try that, and they might be just crazy enough to do it.
02:08Jesse, it's almost like Tim Walts is the leader of the Democrat Party right now because whatever deal he makes with Trump might decide how they handle this in Congress.
02:16I mean, and he's the dumbest Democrat they have.
02:19And he's out in front.
02:20I would just pull him back.
02:22He's already leaving.
02:23You're going to get a new person in there, and they'll probably cooperate, and you can send your agents back in and do the job he's supposed to do.
02:29This is what the Democrats did.
02:31They worked with cartels and the third world to have the greatest human trafficking operation in world history.
02:38They poured into the United States, 20 million, and then they harbor them in these sanctuary cities and then riot when you can't come pick them up, and then blackmail us and say we're going to shut down the government if you keep arresting criminal illegal aliens in our towns.
02:54That's insane.
02:56Donald Trump has reduced illegal immigration and violent crime to century-low levels, and the Democrat response is violent.
03:09And blackmail, that is absolute craziness.
03:13Shutting down the government did not work very well last time.
03:15Defunding the police did not work very well last time.
03:19I don't know why they're doing it, but here's a reason.
03:21It's about power.
03:23The census is already going to strip away a bunch of electoral votes from the Democrats based on population next time, all right?
03:30So they're facing that.
03:32They could still win the blue wall and not win the election next time.
03:36And Donald Trump has suctioned up 10,000 illegals out of Minneapolis already, which basically takes away a congressional district.
03:45So they're fighting for everything because this is about survival.
03:50And if you reduce immigration, you reduce the welfare scams that they're able to kick back into their political war chests.
03:56And the offspring of the immigrants vote Democrat two to one.
03:59That's what they're fighting for.
04:00That's why it's so violent.
04:02Jessica, what is it exactly that Democrats want in order to pass this bill?
04:07Do they want ICE defunded?
04:09They want a bill without any ICE funding at all?
04:11What is it that they want?
04:13Well, they want, and I mean, it's a lot of minutiae, but they want it split up.
04:17The minibus bill put into essentially five separate sections so that you could actually get your hands on money that would be going towards ICE specifically versus other parts of DHS that you do want funded because you want FEMA funded and you want TSA funded.
04:31And in some cases, you want Customs and Border Patrol funded.
04:35I don't think the Democrats will be out alone on this.
04:40I mean, Rand Paul pointed out, as Dana did as well, that a lot of the ICE funding has already gone through.
04:44But there are a lot of Republicans who are very upset with the way ICE is doing their job.
04:49Rand Paul has called for big investigations into this.
04:53Christy Noem will be testifying before the judiciary, I think, on March 3rd.
04:57Are they going to shut down the government for five weeks?
04:59No, no, no.
05:00I'm not saying that.
05:00I'm just saying this idea that it's only Democrats that are upset about this is preposterous.
05:04And Jesse says, you know, you're getting violent because you're so upset that we're picking up violent criminals.
05:09There will be a full investigation.
05:10Kayleigh is right about that.
05:11But what people saw this weekend with Alex Preddy wasn't picking up a violent criminal.
05:15That's not what they saw with Renee Good.
05:17That's not what they've seen with over.
05:18You're saying that the operation to seize this guy from Ecuador wanted for battery.
05:23You're saying that's not true?
05:24That the people who are in ICE.
05:25You're saying that's not the operation that they were conducting?
05:28The people who we are watching in ICE are either untrained to be doing this job, which is what Brian O'Hara, the Minneapolis police chief.
05:36That was Border Patrol, by the way.
05:37I'll tell you, Renee Good, for the first one.
05:39Okay, the guy had been eight years in ICE.
05:42Well, there is a guy instead who was not armed and was down on his knees.
05:47That's what we do know from looking at the video footage right now.
05:49You have 46% of Americans that are saying to abolish ICE.
05:52That's gone up 20 points since June alone.
05:54You have stories like Target employees who are American citizens getting picked up while they're at work.
06:00You, like, it's not what you're saying that it is.
06:04If they were all bad hombres, people would be sitting back and okay with it.
06:07This could be ended today.
06:08No, you won't hand them over, Jessica.
06:09So Chuck Schumer, oh, go ahead.
06:11No, go ahead.
06:11Chuck Schumer wants to end this.
06:13Well, let's end it.
06:14Here's how you end it.
06:15You don't shut down the government.
06:16You shut down the government and you lose politically.
06:19You achieve nothing.
06:20We see what happened with the last government shutdown.
06:22It achieved nothing.
06:22The Obamacare subsidies still have not passed.
06:25So the only thing you achieved is the hopefuls in the Democratic Party getting mad at you after.
06:29Gavin Newsom calling you pathetic and the deal pathetic.
06:32Pete Buttigieg, a bad deal.
06:34J.B. Pritzker, this is not a deal.
06:36It's an empty promise.
06:36That was the criticism Chuck Schumer and the establishment got.
06:39You want to end this now?
06:40Do what Donald Trump has asked.
06:41End sanctuary city jurisdictions.
06:44CBP and ICE, who I think very highly of the great work that they do protecting children,
06:48people who have committed sexual assault crimes against kids,
06:51you are right in that they are not trained to handle crowd control.
06:54This is where police come in.
06:56This is where law enforcement comes in.
06:57And when you have a sanctuary city jurisdiction that doesn't allow local law enforcement to work with ICE,
07:03to work with Border Patrol, what do you get?
07:0560% of violent interactions, 60% have taken place, more than that, in New York City, Minneapolis, Los Angeles.
07:12What's the commonality?
07:13These are blue jurisdictions.
07:14Allow police to work with ICE and Border Patrol in sanctuary city jurisdictions.
07:18I guarantee you, you will not see this happen again.
07:21Yeah, it's, so Title II, Chapter 19 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances
07:24specifically prohibits any city assets from being used for immigration enforcement.
