00:00Holy Catholic Church
00:06I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness
00:13of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
00:19The Holy Spirit confirms in us that we are children of God. This means that we have a
00:25family, the Holy Catholic Church. Holy means set apart from the world around us. Catholic
00:32means universal. The Church is the body of believers, the family of God. Put these three
00:39things together, and the Church is a worldwide group of brothers and sisters set apart from
00:44the rest of humanity to work together for God's glory. The Holy Spirit helps us to maintain
00:50unity in our diversity around the world, finding common ground in the saving work of Jesus.
00:57He also helps us to work together to share this good news throughout the world.
01:02Pause to pray. Holy Spirit, forgive me for the ways that I have been a part of disunity within
01:08the universal Church. Help me to see all believers as my brothers and sisters and to live out love
01:15for them. Amen.
