On January 22, 2026, a collision occurred between a passenger train and a heavy goods vehicle at a level crossing in Chivasso (Turin), along the Ivrea-Turin railway line. Firefighters and paramedics rescued a passenger. Evacuation operations for the 70 people on board the train have been completed. The video was released by the Fire Brigade.
