00:00this world view that i that i like so i like his i like his whole take on reality i don't happen to
00:09like this guy i think he has terrible production his songs are dreadful but he writes great songs
00:14and great lyrics you know yeah i wonder no well no not something like that something is more
00:26thoughtful and more some of the newer things are real nice actually boogie street everybody likes
00:33a thousand kisses deep isn't yeah i like those a lot and i've heard them many many times
00:48yeah i don't know exactly what to say we were we were touring and uh
00:53uh yes it's totally official yes exactly we have an agreement they're nice people uh yes but live
01:00in saint petersburg we we arrived in the scene rather exhausted and we didn't have our own sound
01:06engineer we worked with a local uh russian person and so we only just met and uh then we mixed it
01:13through the mail in that way that i was talking about how you can do that now and uh and so live
01:19in saint petersburg that was that was the first tour really official tour that we put together in
01:24order to uh kind of kickstart our own engine um so it's full of old material which we've rearranged for
01:33our own amusement what's it is more uh tuxedo months 10 years in one night or 11 i've heard bootlegs
01:44which were better than both which one ah lord they're from all different times and so it's kind
01:51of hard to say but there are uh there are many in circulation but you know it's like live concerts
01:57is such a tricky thing if you try to record one from the beginning to the end most live concert
02:02albums that are officially released are made over a whole tour and so they take a multi-track recording
02:07situation around to 20 different rooms and then they edit down all the best stuff but what we've got
02:12here in both of these situations although the 10 years in one night has a few location recordings
02:17but most of them are uh all of them in fact except for the uh the berlin concert which is the majority
02:23of the show were recorded on cassettes in the audience and we've had the maniac uh try to find
02:29eq and make a good sound out of it it was no we don't really have a live recording that was done in
02:34ideal situation and i don't think we're going to do one because live is kind of something for
02:39the audience to have if they record it and share it amongst themselves that's great we're honored
02:44and we're glad and the people who who who get involved with uh collecting and appreciating that
02:50already understand the context of it which is that it's a live recording made in a you know but
02:55when you when you try to make an official live album i think tuxedo moon is more interested in
02:59making official studio albums right interestingly enough though we do have a dvd with a great many
03:06live sequences in it which we will release very heavily edited though i mean yeah songs are cut
03:12from five different locations in the middle of different songs but they're live video is more
03:17fun that's what i'm talking about to watch as well i guess that's what i'm talking about it's a live
03:22it's a live document but it's not it's not so much a musical document it's a visual document
03:27because the real idea of live recordings from back in the day was that you could somehow experience the
03:32band live even though you didn't see them and not really but with the with images to look at as
03:38well you have again no possibility to experience the band live if you weren't there but it's at least
03:44a little bit more amusing okay thank you very much for jingle jingle oh yeah say uh we are
03:57you watching tv metropolis okay hello we are tuxedo moon and you're watching tv metropolis
04:04ha
04:13you
