00:55This was the new initiative by the Railway Protection Force.
01:14This initiative is being taken by the central government.
01:18So this was not our personal interest towards this particular domain and this project name
01:24is called RoboCorp which gives the security to the public and actually parallel is security
01:29and parallel is surveillance.
01:31There are three S's we call it S, safety, security and semi-autonomous.
01:36So we are in a larger team of 15 members.
01:38We have been making this particular project since from the last four months of the time
01:42and this was the real-time implementation.
01:44So the purpose of this project is generally identify the goal.
01:50Railway Department is a railway structure is very bigger in the domain in entire India.
01:55So lack of people, number of people and they are due to travel and intruder, every normal
02:02person and it is a very big challenge for the public, police safety department.
02:06So it is an opportunity in India.
02:09So facial recognition system is not going to happen.
02:11As far as facial recognition system is not going to happen automatically the internet of
02:14things will be a messaging system and it is going to happen.
02:17Basically the robot can control the two-and-fro motion ahead.
02:21So in this particular project we can make it the robot to go forward, left, right and parallel
02:26and parallel is a path such as the path of the robot is automatically going to be able to
02:29be able to identify it.
02:30So if you can see it, you will have sensors.
02:31So you have sensors.
02:32So we have all the sensors.
02:33So the sensors will automatically detect the camera.
02:34They are automatically detect the camera.
02:35So this is the problem.
02:44The first obstacle is to detect the right and left of the robot.
02:49Parallel, you have some physical movements.
02:53The physical movements are the same.
02:56Make the robot to 2NF row, right and left.
03:00The next important consideration is to be 360 degree surveillance.
03:05Here is a camera.
03:07The back side also you have another camera.
03:09The two cameras are the same.
03:11The two cameras are the same!
03:13So, the camera will be automatically,
03:15the camera is about zero to 180 degrees.
03:17This robot is going to be automatically.
03:20So, the camera will automatically detect the right echelten.
03:27This was the initiative.
03:30The first animal activities,
03:33the different robot was available.
03:35This was the first time the Indian Railways was taken into the department.
03:40was taken into the department. Indian Railway has been supported to make this project well
03:53successful.
03:54It was the Corona time when we imagined that we should have a robot where social distancing
04:00and all things are maintained. And the origin of this robot started at Pune station. So
04:09we had in mind that we should develop it further. So when I joined East Coast Railway in 2023
04:15July, so we had solar powered cameras in the section in mind to enhance the security, especially
04:21in the affected areas, then drones obviously, GPRS trackers, and we have strategic interest
04:28to have a robot for having our force multiplier thing. So for two and a half years we have
04:34been working on this and we are really grateful to Voltaire Division, our team led by Shri
04:39Ajay Dube. So they have really worked hard on this. And it will give immense inputs, especially
04:45in platform areas where there are blind spots, where there are no CCTV cameras. And the movement
04:51will give a lot of inputs to our security control. And we have the criminals data bank which can
04:59be stored in the robot given in the control from where through FRS systems we can detect the
05:04intruder or criminals moving in the stationary.
