The Madani Government has given full latitude to authorities to combat corruption and abuse of power, including illegal electronic waste (e-waste) imports, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Speaking to reporters after performing Friday prayers, Anwar said the Cabinet has taken a firm stance to prevent Malaysia from becoming a dumping ground for e-waste.

He added that, despite past reminders and oversight, weaknesses in contracts and tenders persist, making strict monitoring essential.
