00:00The glory of our Lord. Amen.
00:05Well, we prayed for the word.
00:08Glory to your holy name. Lord, we are here, Lord.
00:13Know our hearts, know our intentions, know perfectly, Lord.
00:18And all of us who are here urgently need you, Lord.
00:23Without you we cannot persist, there is no life, Lord.
00:26There is no holiness, there is no purity.
00:28Without you there is nothing, Lord.
00:31And we acknowledge this afternoon that we need you, Lord.
00:35And that your word is the truth, it is the only one that can transform us, Lord.
00:41It is the absolute truth.
00:43May the Lord help me to know you more, to serve you more, and to love you more.
00:49And we ask this in the name of your Son. Amen.
00:54Well, brothers, sister.
00:58Let us listen to the word of God and prepare our hearts, because it is the word of God, isn't it?
01:09Amen.
01:09And it is very important that we live in a society that gives little reverence to almost nothing.
01:14In a superficial society, where everything is.
01:19But we cannot do that with the word of God, because if we are superficial with the word of God, we can also be superficial with...
01:28Where will we spend eternity?
01:33That's why evil wants us to be superficial, ignorant, to live...
01:39Let's not take notice until we fall into the hole.
01:43And then we started shouting, right?
01:46The Bible says in Proverbs, chapter 1, the waywardness of ignorance will kill him.
01:52Exactly, yes, brother.
01:55Proverbs says there that...
01:58The purpose of the Proverb is to make us sensible and prudent.
02:03That we learn wisdom.
02:05Knowing how to act.
02:07And it ends there in Proverb 1, the deviation of ignorance will kill him.
02:11That's why, in a society that ignores what's most important.
02:16The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God.
02:19The reverent fear of God.
02:21He who does not fear God and does not show it in practice, is not wise.
02:26It doesn't matter, he can be very intelligent.
02:28If his soul is lost, all that he has done is for nothing.
02:32That is why it is so important that we pay close attention to what the word of God teaches us.
02:37Today I'm going to talk about how God doesn't belong to any religious denomination.
02:45God does not belong to any religious group.
02:48God does not belong to any human label.
02:52Before any religion existed in the world, God existed.
02:57It is eternal; it has neither beginning nor end.
03:00And there was no religion.
03:01He does not belong to any denomination.
03:04And we need to be clear about that.
03:05God is not evangelical, God is not Baptist, God is not Catholic, God is not Muslim.
03:13And other religions.
03:14God is the only eternal God and He did not teach Noah the way back.
03:20But that means if God doesn't belong to any denomination,
03:26Not all religious paths lead back to God.
03:28That's what it means that it doesn't matter what religion you are or what you practice.
03:35Do what, if you practice a religion in the end, leads you to God.
03:39That's not what he means.
03:41Not all paths, and we're going to see that, not all paths lead us to God.
03:49There is only one path that leads us to God.
03:53From the Scriptures of the Bible, we know clearly that there is only one path that can lead us back to God.
04:00God does not belong to any denomination.
04:02There are many religions in the world, many.
04:06And now, for example, there are monotheistic religions that believe in more gods,
04:12who believe in one God.
04:14There are polytheists who believe in more gods, and so on.
04:17But all that path leads to God.
04:19In fact, I'm going to talk to you a little bit about that,
04:22about monotheistic and polytheistic religions.
04:26The best-known monotheistic religions are those that believe in more than one God.
04:34It's Hinduism.
04:36One of them recognizes multiple deities such as Vishu, Shiva, Laskini, Durga, or Ganesha.
04:44Later in Japan, Shinito.
04:47They believe in thousands of kami, spirits or deities of nature.
04:51Later, traditional African religions often have extensive pantheons of gods and spirits
04:59linked to nature and ancestors.
05:04Indigenous American religions.
05:07Many tribes venerate multiple spirits, forces of nature, and sacred beings.
05:12Neopaganism and Wicca often honor various gods and goddesses, frequently inspired by traditions
05:21old.
05:23Next, polytheistic religions of antiquity.
05:26Polytheistic religions are religions that believe that there is more than one God.
05:31In Greek mythology they believed in Zeus, in Athena, in Apollo, in Aphrodite.
05:37In Roman mythology, in Jupiter, Mars, Venus.
05:41In Egyptian mythology, Ram, Isis, Osiris, Anubis.
05:46In Norse mythology, Odin, Thor, Reia.
05:51In Celtic mythology, Lug, Brig, Cernus.
05:56In Mesopotamian mythology, Enil, Isatar, Marduk.
05:59And so we know that they also created Baal through the people who were around Israel.
06:05And he had so many gods.
06:07Is that real?
06:09There are so many gods in the world.
06:11Every path leads to God.
06:12And each god had a personality, a character.
06:16And he demanded, for example, alongside the people of Israel, from God.
06:22There were gods who demanded that he sacrifice his children.
06:26Is this what God is like?
06:29Is this what God is like?
06:30Do you realize what I'm talking about?
06:32In other words, God does not belong to any of those religions.
06:36But not all paths.
06:37That does not mean that all paths owe their existence to God.
06:40Then there are monotheistic religions.
06:43They believe only in God.
06:45For example, Christianity believes in one God.
06:48There are three people.
06:49The Father, the Son, the Spirit.
06:51Islam believes in only God, who is Allah.
06:55And Muhammad as his prophet.
06:58Judaism believes only in God.
07:01In Oba.
07:02And the Torah continues.
07:04And there's more, brother.
07:05There are thousands and thousands of religions.
07:07And then, even within the same religion, there are differences.
07:11Just like in Christianity.
07:12And then, within Christianity there are Catholics.
07:15There are orthodox people.
07:16There are Ventecostals.
07:18There are Baptists.
07:19There is a witness from Novar.
07:20There are Adventists.
07:22And so on.
07:23And more, which I don't remember, there's a lot, isn't there?
07:26But all that journey leads us to God.
07:29Where is the truth?
07:31How can we find out the royal road?
07:34To bring him back to God, right?
07:36In the scriptures, in the Bible, it is very clear.
07:40And I want to prove it this afternoon.
07:42Here are five truths that define the path of God.
07:47Five truths that define the path of God.
07:49First, there is only one way to God, and that is Jesus Christ.
07:56There is only one mediator between God and men, Christ Jesus.
08:01It is not achieved through one's own efforts or by fulfilling the law, only through Jesus.
08:08Whoever denies Jesus as the Son of God is excluded from the Father.
08:12And lastly, to recognize Jesus as Lord, the work of the Father and the Holy Spirit.
08:19So, what he tells us is very important.
08:22Realizing this is why it's so important; in John chapter 1, it says,
08:25In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
08:32And all things were created through Him and for Him.
08:36And then, in verse 17, it says,
08:38And this word has become flesh among us.
08:41That is, the word of God, which is Jesus Christ,
08:44and the absolute truth, which is a person,
08:48He became flesh and came among us,
08:51And he tells us, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
08:55Therefore, there is only one way, and that is Jesus.
08:58When we talk about salvation and spending eternity with God,
09:01Life leaves room for relativism, that everything is relative.
09:06I can reach God by being a good person.
09:09I must lie, steal, commit adultery, steal, and if I don't do wrong,
09:14And if I'm a good person, I either don't read the Bible or any other religious book.
09:19And I'm a good person, I can get to heaven.
09:22Others think it is through faith in Jesus.
09:28Others think they have to sacrifice themselves, even die, to get to heaven.
09:33And there's more.
09:34But the Bible is not relative about that.
09:37Jesus is categorical about that.
09:40And it tells us in John 14, verse 6, it tells us,
09:44John 14, verse 6, tells us,
09:46I am the way, the truth, and the life.
09:51No one comes to the Father except through me.
09:54John, chapter 14, verse 6.
09:57It is very clear what the Lord says, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
10:02Brother, that's something shocking that he says here.
10:05If we look at it superficially, if we listen to it every day,
10:08It doesn't seem like something very shocking, but it is.
10:12He says, I am the way.
10:14He doesn't say, I'll show you the way.
10:17It's much more than showing the way, I am the way.
10:20And then he says, and the truth.
10:22I am the absolute truth that has incarnated.
10:26Everything I say is the truth.
10:29It is the absolute truth.
10:30That is.
10:31And then he says, and life, I am life.
10:34You cannot have communion with the Father.
10:37You cannot have communion with the source and with life,
10:40who is my Father, who is me, if he is separated from me,
10:43if he is separated from the Father.
10:45"I am the life," says Jesus.
10:47No one comes to the Father except through me.
10:50He makes that clear.
10:51No one can have fellowship with my Father except through me.
10:56No one can have fellowship with my Father,
10:58if you do not have faith in me and do not recognize that you need me as Lord and Savior.
11:04Because, brother, we already know that clearly.
11:06According to Scripture, we all sin.
11:08All.
11:09All.
11:10All of us, there is no one who has not sinned.
11:13We all invalidate God's law, God's moral law,
11:16which is primarily the Ten Commandments.
11:19You shall not steal, you shall not kill, run to your father, to your mother.
11:22You shall not covet your brother’s house or his work,
11:26neither his wife, nor anything else.
11:28And so there are the Ten Commandments,
11:31which is the foundation of human morality.
11:33And we all invalidated it.
11:35God is the judge, according to life.
11:37I spoke to someone a day ago and they said, God is love, God is good.
11:42And when I say, but God is the judge.
11:44No, not that.
11:46God is not a judge.
11:47But it is, according to the Bible.
11:50One day, the Bible says, God ordained that man should die only once,
11:54And then comes the trial, the accountability process.
11:58And what do I mean by that?
11:59That all of that, if he is a just judge, must condemn us.
12:04If he is a fair judge.
12:05And how can we not escape God's righteous judgment?
12:09Through faith in Jesus, because Jesus died for our sins.
12:13It is the only way, or the only way out, that God accepts.
12:17to have communion with him,
12:19It is through faith in Jesus, because he is the only one who paid the price.
12:22Because that judge was just.
12:24And the wages of sin, the Bible says, is death.
12:29Everything that sins against God, says God, who is absolute truth,
12:34declare, you deserve to die.
12:36What God says is the truth, brother.
12:39God always interprets reality.
12:41And he says that's white, it's white, it's black, it's black.
12:45Because we are talking about God who knows everything.
12:47Many times human beings interpret God in light of what he is.
12:54But God knows everything, and He is perfectly just.
12:58If it says that's bad, it really is bad.
13:01If it says you deserve to die, then you really deserve to die.
13:05Or I deserve to die.
13:06Therefore, God cannot lie to himself through scripture.
13:09That is why the only solution is our Lord Jesus Christ.
13:12But we realize there are no other ways.
13:15He is radical.
13:16There is no other way, no other rituals to conquer God and have a relationship with God.
13:25The only way is to go back home to where we came from.
13:29Because I'm going to take a break, brother.
13:31We are created in his image and likeness.
13:34Our home is God himself.
13:37Our identity is God.
13:39That's where we come from.
13:40That is our identity.
13:42That is why a man who does not have God in his heart has no stability.
13:47He has a thirst that nothing can quench.
13:50And vices and things seek him out.
13:53And it cannot satisfy the inner being, the spiritual part,
13:57who wants to replace it with earthly things,
14:01which is the place that only God can occupy.
14:05So he goes searching everywhere and he has that thirst.
14:07That is why Jesus, our Lord, says.
14:10Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.
14:13And if the Samaritan woman also says, if I give you some of that water and you drink it,
14:17You will never get thirsty.
14:19Never.
14:20It is returning to God, it is having communion with God.
14:23It's about returning to our identity.
14:24That's where you come from.
14:27He projected you.
14:28He created you.
14:29He formed you.
14:30He designed you.
14:31And He placed an immaterial part of Himself within us.
14:35Because that means created in his image and likeness.
14:37For example, the ability to reason.
14:40The capacity to be conscious, to know that we exist.
14:43The capacity to love.
14:45The ability to say that's bad, that's good.
14:48And God put even more things in us.
14:51We come from Him.
14:51So how can we get him back on the path home?
14:56It is through our Lord Jesus Christ.
15:00How can we have communion with the God who did not create?
15:04Through Jesus.
15:06Because that communion has been broken with the name sin.
15:10What does the Bible say? Can two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?
15:13In other words, can two people get along if one is contrary to the other?
15:18No.
15:20That's what human beings don't understand.
15:22When I do things like steal, lie, sin, and do unjust things.
15:28I am doing things contrary to God's will, which is good.
15:32And can I get along with God if I always do the opposite of what He does?
15:36No.
15:38And so, our relationship with God was broken.
15:40And Christ is coming to restore our relationship with God.
15:44Through NLP and what He has done with us.
15:46That is why Scripture says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son."
15:52That whoever believes in Him may not perish, but have eternal life.
15:56And what is eternal life?
15:58The Lord Jesus Christ says.
16:00In John 17, chapter 3.
16:02And this is eternal life, that I may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
16:09Did you realize how many gods there were when they were reading to you?
16:12There was.
16:13And now each God had his own personality.
16:16But now we see through Scripture the attributes of God, what God is like, the nature of God.
16:25For example, God is immutable.
16:28What does that mean in terms of its attribute or nature?
16:31God never changes in anything.
16:35Not even as soon as, for example, let me give you an example.
16:36If God hates lying, He will always hate it; He never changes.
16:41God is omnipresent, that's what I was saying about nature, that will never change, He will always be omnipresent everywhere.
16:48God is unchanging in all His being, that is why we can trust Him completely.
16:53He doesn't change his mind every year, every time.
16:57He is what he is, immutable, and never changes.
17:00You can fully trust him.
17:03It doesn't need to improve, because it's perfect; it will never diminish in its essence.
17:10In other words, God will one day be no longer all-powerful.
17:13That's not possible.
17:14He is by nature all-powerful.
17:17A day will come when God will not know everything.
17:20That will never happen.
17:22He'll always know everything, brother.
17:24Therefore, we can fully trust in the God who created heaven and earth,
17:29It is a spirit, not an image.
17:31Spirit, so to speak, is a mind without a body, which can do everything, is all-powerful.
17:42Scripture also tells us in the context that if every path leads us back to God, in Acts 4:12 it tells us,
17:49There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
18:00He realizes that not every path leads back to God.
18:03He says, there is no salvation in anyone else.
18:07He realizes it, in no other, because there is no other name under heaven.
18:12There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
18:20We can't trust anyone.
18:22Tell me, is there anything, is there anything, anyone in the universe, under the sun, that we can trust?
18:29And to say, through that person we can be saved.
18:32But here we speak, brothers, there is no rite, no ritual, no way to turn to God outside of suffering.
18:39Jesus doesn't even try, because God won't accept it.
18:42Because the Bible says that all our work, which we do to the flesh, is to God filthy rags.
18:49Because it is driven by the flesh, they are not righteous works, they are not perfect.
18:54It is not enough to be saved and turn back to God.
18:57God is perfect, He demands perfection for salvation.
19:02That is why Christ had to die for our sins.
19:05He, God is not ignorant, God does not tell you, ah, you did well, when you do it wrong.
19:12God cannot lie.
19:14If you do it wrong, it tells you, of course, that it's bad.
19:17That's just how God is.
19:20It's not like we often do, we say, to encourage him, even though he did badly, you did well.
19:26God is not like that, because if He said so, He would be a liar.
19:31It's no longer fair, God tells us the truth.
19:34That is why He demands of us, everything so that a person may be saved through his works, He demands that he fulfill His requirements.
19:44And no one fulfills it, because the Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
19:50Therefore, the only way to God is Jesus Christ, the only way to God.
19:58It's not a physical path, brother, it's not something I'm walking.
20:01The only way that, in the spirit, in the inner man, has communion with God, is through faith in Jesus.
20:08And to have communion with Him.
20:12I try, in my inner man, to save up and go with confidence to God, knowing that He deserves it through faith in Christ Jesus.
20:20To have communion with God, to enter into the presence of God, to enter the house of God, and to enjoy the presence of God,
20:27and the peace that God gives when I draw near to Him, knowing that I have communion with the greatest in the universe, who is God.
20:37There is no one as beautiful as God, I assure you, you will not find anyone like God.
20:42So, there is no other way, the only way to rob us of God is through our Lord Jesus Christ.
20:49I will also quote him from John, John chapter 10.
20:57It tells us here, John chapter 10, verse 1.
21:03Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the gate into the herd of the sheep,
21:09but he goes up another way, that's the thief and robber.
21:14He who does not enter through the door, and the door is what the Lord says, is he.
21:19He is a thief, he is a robber, he who wants to enter the system in another way,
21:24where there is safety, where there are no wolves, where there is defense, where there is warmth,
21:29He who wants to enter there, but does not enter through the door, and wants to enter through another place, is a robber.
21:36He is a robber, that is what the Lord tells us.
21:39And then it says, in verse 7.
21:40So Jesus said to him again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the gate for the sheep.”
21:49All who came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not catch them.
21:55I am the door, the one who will be saved for now.
21:59Very light.
22:00He who will be saved in the meantime will come in and go out, and find peace.
22:07He will enter, he will leave, he will find peace, or he will have communion with God.
22:10He will have peace in his heart; he has communion with the living and true God.
22:15The thief comes only to hide, and kill, and destroy.
22:20That's why the thief comes.
22:21And I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
22:27That's what the Lord says.
22:27Therefore, brother, any teaching that is not according to the good shepherd, turn away from it.
22:35Because everything that contradicts what Jesus says—that the thief is a robber, a false prophet—and so on, leads to destruction.
22:44Because?
22:45Because look how he says, I am the good shepherd.
22:48And he says, I am the good shepherd, says Nucer.
22:52Shepherd, the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
22:55The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
23:00But the hired hand, who is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees the wolf and the sheep coming and leaves the sheep and runs away.
23:13And the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them.
23:17So the hired hand runs away because he is a hired hand, and the sheep don't care.
23:23Something important, they realize, is that he is a salaried employee.
23:26He doesn't care about the sheep, he doesn't love the sheep.
23:29So, when someone wants to tell you something contrary to the word of God, they don't care if you are going to perish or not.
23:36He has an interest, he is salaried, according to the interest of each one.
23:41Either he knows about it, or he's ignorant of it, or he has a vested interest.
23:45The sheep doesn't care, it doesn't care if you are going to perish and if your soul is going to have problems.
23:51No, no, because he is a salaried employee.
23:53Because here Jesus says, I am the good shepherd, I love the sheep, I lay down my life for them.
23:58But those who don't love him don't care; the sheep don't care.
24:02He doesn't care.
24:04So, the false prophet, the one who lies, the one who deceives, the one who manipulates, does not matter to the sheep.
24:10He doesn't care.
24:11Because it has an interest.
24:12Look at the wool that little sheep has.
24:15Look at the meat on that little lamb.
24:17Wow! That's great! I'm going to fill my varicose vein!
24:20So, because he has a vested interest, he doesn't preach the truth.
24:23He's not telling her the truth.
24:25It doesn't warn because of some context, some interest, in order to live well, to have clothes, and many other things.
24:33Because it says there, he is a salaried employee.
24:35He has an interest, brother.
24:37But I, says Jesus, love him.
24:39It matters to me, I've given my life for it.
24:42If you follow me, and if you enter through the door, if you have me as Lord and Savior,
24:50Then you're going to eat good food.
24:53I will defend you.
24:55I'm not going to let the wolf come and scatter you, or let the wolf come and eat you.
25:00No.
25:01I'm going to defend you.
25:02I am the shepherd who loves the sheep.
25:05And it says here, I am the good shepherd and I know my sheep.
25:10And mine know me.
25:11So, just as the Father knows me, I know the Father, and I lay down my life for the sheep.
25:17It says, not the Lord says, it says elsewhere, there is no such great love as to lay down one's life for one's friends.
25:24There is no greater expression of love than to lay down your life for your friends.
25:29So, Christ showed us how much he loves us, because he gave his life for us.
25:37He showed that he loves us and wants what's best for us.
25:41And he is the shepherd; not every path leads to God.
25:44He is the one who became incarnate, came into that world, and gave his life for us.
25:50And it says here, I also have other sheep that are not of this kind.
25:55I must bring that one too and listen to my voice, and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
26:00Brother, you heard his voice.
26:01That's what you're like, that sheep who says.
26:03I have other sheep.
26:05I take that into account.
26:06The day will come when he will listen to me and he will come.
26:09Because my sheep hear my voice and follow me.
26:11And I give him eternal life, says the Lord.
26:15My sheep hears my voice and follows me, and I give it eternal life.
26:18Everything that hears the voice of Christ has eternal life.
26:22Then we see that the one who leaps is not through Christ.
26:26Because if you look around, in all religions people try to please God.
26:32Try to keep up with morality.
26:34And that lack of condemnation for the guilt of sin comes, no, from customs in religions,
26:39human sacrifices and so many other customs that are not according to God's will.
26:45It is a product of the mind that turned away from God.
26:48And Jesus Christ comes to teach them, to teach them the way.
26:52And He is the way, the truth, and the life.
26:55You can study how other religions manifested themselves.
26:59And you'll see that everyone tries in some way to please God, but they don't succeed.
27:06For example, religions that sacrifice their children.
27:09I remember that in my country there used to be a religion that, when it tried to enter the Roman Empire,
27:15One of the kings sacrificed his son to win the fight.
27:20So that God may grant him victory.
27:22God, who knew Samoses, almost called himself, threw him onto some sticks.
27:29And so may God grant him victory.
27:31Or when he saw that it wasn't raining, that there was no fruit on the land,
27:37He began sacrificing his children and did a lot of things because he had a guilty conscience.
27:42Because, as I said, he's done something wrong.
27:45Because when we sin, our conscience condemns us.
27:48But Jesus Christ was sacrificed for us once for all.
27:52And we don't need to sacrifice anything to be saved.
27:57All our sacrifice is for the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
28:01Yes, we sacrificed, we sacrificed time, days, money and so many, many things.
28:07But we do it out of love for Him, not to earn salvation.
28:12Because nobody can beat it, brother.
28:14So, not all paths lead us back to God.
28:16The only one who brings us back to God, according to the word of God, is our Lord Jesus Christ.
28:22That means that any religion that presents a distinct access to Christ, different from Christ,
28:32access through rituals or, as I said before, sacrifices,
28:36And if he has to fulfill such, such, such things to be saved, it won't work.
28:41And it will not be able to lead us to God.
28:44For example, even in the Christian world, now we must do good works, we must help the poor,
28:49You have to do nothing, you have to do that, and if you do that, you will be saved.
28:53You won't find that in the Bible.
28:56Although all of that should be done out of love for others, it won't save you.
29:00What saves you is our Lord Jesus Christ.
29:04There are so many laws that human beings invent to save themselves.
29:08The only one who can save us is Jesus Christ.
29:10There is no other way, brother.
29:12And I'll go on to the second point, which is a single mediator.
29:15Scripture affirms that there is only one mediator between God and man.
29:21The only one, who is our Lord Jesus Christ.
29:23It says so in 1 Timothy 2:5.
29:271 Timothy 2:5
29:30For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men.
29:36Christ.
29:37There is no other.
29:39According to Catholicism, Mary is not also not Mary.
29:41No, brother.
29:43The only one who has died for our sins, rose again, and is at the right hand of the Father, is our Lord Jesus Christ.
29:50The only mediator there is.
29:52In the context we're talking about, right?
29:54Because there are other lions, there are other mediators.
29:57In Catholicism it is Jesus Christ and also Mary.
30:00In orthodoxy as well.
30:02Mary, the mother of Jesus, is a mediator.
30:07In orthodoxy, they speak of Christian violence, but is that real?
30:11Very realistic.
30:12There is only one place where one is in the scripture, because there is only one God and one mediator between God and men.
30:19Christ.
30:20Nobody else.
30:21Only He is interceding for us, protecting us, helping us, and shepherding us.
30:29And the Bible says, "And I will be with you until the end of the ages."
30:34He is the head of the church.
30:36Therefore, no one, no other figure, no one can mediate badly.
30:42Any teaching done by human mediators, another requirement for salvation, is contrary to the scriptures.
30:52It is contrary to the scriptures.
30:54And I'm going to go to point three.
30:56The work does not justify before God.
30:59The work does not justify before God.
31:01That is to say, our works without Jesus Christ do not justify us before God.
31:06Many of León teaches that obedience, the practice of fulfilling the rules, guarantees acceptance before God.
31:16The Bible shows a different reality.
31:18The law reveals sin, it reveals that we are naked before God and that there is no way to save ourselves outside of Jesus Christ.
31:29That is what the law teaches us.
31:31The law is good, the scripture says.
31:33The law is good because God's law is good.
31:35What is it?
31:36As I've said before, don't steal, don't kill.
31:38In other words, it is love for one's neighbor.
31:40What God tells human beings is not wrong.
31:43For example, God says, you shall not kill, it is wrong.
31:45God says, you shall not steal it, it is evil.
31:50No, everything God says is good.
31:52But that law teaches us that we are sinners.
31:57Because we all did that.
32:00And we are not capable of saving it ourselves.
32:05The law leads us to dependence on Jesus.
32:10Doesn't it say that?
32:11Look, in Romans, chapter 3, verse 20.
32:14He tells us, because by the work of the law, no human being will be justified before God.
32:20The word says it all, of course.
32:22Because by the works of the law, no human being will be justified before God.
32:27Because of the work a person wants to be saved because they are good, because they do that, because they fulfill that.
32:35Because of all that he accomplishes, no one, look brother, it says here, no human being will be justified before God.
32:42But why does he talk about justification?
32:44Because there is a law that is invalid.
32:46And now, I'm going to explain it like this to someone in the world.
32:49For example, if I steal in that society, and the law says that the thief has to do 5 years in jail.
32:56The police arrest me and take me before a judge.
32:59He caught me, it's already proven that I'm a thief, and by law I have to do 5 years in jail.
33:04Imagine that the judge, the good officer, a loving person, can free me from the law.
33:12If he says, I am good, I will free you, you will not go to jail.
33:17So, the law is useless, and the judge is unjust.
33:20Neither the judge nor the law makes sense.
33:23That's what God is like.
33:24So how can that judge save me from the 5-year prison sentence?
33:30Justifying myself before that law, which is good, is for the good of all.
33:33This is how God justifies us, how Christ died for us, for our sins.
33:38No one will be justified by the work of the law.
33:41So how will it be justified?
33:43Through faith in Christ Jesus, because Christ died for my sins.
33:47He took my place on the cross.
33:50He paid for me.
33:52He died for my sins.
33:54The wages of sin is death.
33:55It is death, the Bible says, and Christ has died for my sins.
33:58Therefore, I am considered righteous before God through faith in Christ Jesus.
34:05I am justified.
34:07It's very important to understand that.
34:09Justification according to the Bible.
34:11Therefore, by the works of the law, no one can be justified, because everything is sin.
34:16That's what the law teaches.
34:17And when you get before God, you start to reason with God, Lord, but look, you have done, but look, you lied two million times.
34:28You said that.
34:29There's no way out with God anymore, I assure you.
34:32Because in a psalm, I don't remember, where the Lord says, "Stand up with me and justify yourself."
34:38Let's see if you can justify yourself and prove to me that you are worthy of entering heaven because of how good you are.
34:46There is no one who can do it the best in this world.
34:50He cannot prove it.
34:52He can't.
34:52The Bible of the Church says, "There is no one righteous, look, if it says, that he never sins."
34:59And it refers to a person who seeks to do good, who wants to do good, not one who lives as he pleases, and who never sins.
35:06So, brother, we all sin and nullify God's law and are justified by faith in Christ Jesus.
35:11Therefore, not every path is through faith in Jesus.
35:15In Galatians 3, verse 23, it tells us, but before faith came, we were put in safety under the law, waxed until the faith that was to be revealed came.
35:26So the law was our guardian until Christ came, so that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.
35:40What is he saying here?
35:41He's saying here that it was because of the law, but what the law showed, showed that we are sinners.
35:48And that led me to Christ.
35:49The law teaches me that I need Jesus and I cannot be saved without Him.
35:54It's the tutor, tutor means someone who guides you, someone who teaches.
35:59He was a person who taught the Jewish children in his family, he guided them, he taught them.
36:06So, the law is our teacher.
36:10The law teaches us, the law guides us to Jesus and clearly shows us that we need him.
36:17That's what the law does.
36:18He cannot save us.
36:20He cannot save us.
36:21The only one who saves is our Lord Jesus Christ.
36:24So, in all other religions, outside of Christianity, salvation is by works, by doing certain things and fulfilling certain religious rites that are not enough to be saved, according to the Bible.
36:40So, we see that not all roads lead to Rome, as that word says.
36:46If there is only one who leads to God, who is Jesus?
36:49It is not about despising the law, it is not about despising holiness, because we love God's law, as the Scripture says.
36:58And Paul says so, doesn't he?
36:59Through the mind we love and delight in God's law, but Paul says, there is another law in me, the law of sin; that is, I am a sinner.
37:07And many times I do what I don't want to do, and I do the evil that I don't want to do, and I don't do the good that I want to do, says Paul.
37:17Woe is me! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
37:21Thanks be to God, Lord, to our God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, says the Scripture, brother.
37:27So, we do not despise God's law; we recognize that God's law is good. We recognize that if God's law were applied to all of humanity, the earth would be perfect; there would be no problem.
37:39But we also recognize that we all nullify God's law, and cannot be saved by the law.
37:46But the law is good, the law is good, because, as the Bible says in Romans 12?
37:50Because God's will is good, pleasing, and perfect, it is for our good. We love God's law, we cherish God's law, and we practice God's law, but not to be saved, not to be saved, if we do it for the love of God, for the love of God.
38:07And as the Bible says in Ephesians 2, 8, 10, by grace I am saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God, not by works so that no one may boast, it is not by works.
38:20So that no one can boast, brother, and let's go for the first point, already four, almost there and it's over.
38:26So, in other religions that do not recognize the divinity of Christ, the divinity of Christ is decisive, that is, Christ, Jesus Christ is God.
38:38That man, God who became incarnate, any religion that does not recognize Jesus Christ as God, already has a problem, has a problem.
38:49Because the Bible clearly teaches that Christ existed before the foundation of the world, and we see that it says, before Abraham and Osobe tells them, and they wanted to preach him.
39:02Christ became incarnate, not from when he was born into that world, became conscious and began to exist.
39:09Christ existed from the beginning, he is God, because that's what they say in John 1, in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.
39:20What Christ did was become incarnate in this world, come from a world that is not spiritual, and take on flesh in this world, through which the Holy Spirit begot.
39:31And the Holy Spirit chose Mary, a virgin, to bring Christ into this world, but He has always existed.
39:38He is the Son of God in substance and nature; that is to say, He has all the attributes of God: He is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, immutable.
39:48All the attributes of God's nature dwell in Jesus; that's why He is God, He is God, because look how it says in 1 John 2:23.
40:01Everything that comes to the Son does not have the Father either; he who confesses the Son also acknowledges the Father; he who confesses the Son also has the Father.
40:11Brother, but here when it speaks of the Son, it refers to the Son of God by nature, that is what the Scripture says here.
40:20Whoever acknowledges Christ as the Son of God is in the truth and has the Father, but whoever denies Jesus Christ as the Son of God,
40:32He does not have the Father, he does not know the Father, that's what he says, everything that he denies the Son, also, he does not have the Father either.
40:39He who denies Christ as God does not have the Father, and he who confesses the Son also has the Father.
40:44In 2 John 1:7, it tells us, because many deceivers have gone out into the world, who do not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh,
40:59The one who does this is the deceiver and the antichrist.
41:04He who denies Jesus as God incarnate is antichrist, that is what he is saying, he is antichrist, he is anti-God, and he opposes God.
41:20and does not know the living and eternal God.
41:23And if God says, "This is who I am," He says, "I am who I am," and He says, "If you look at the Scriptures, there is the Father, the Son, the Spirit,"
41:31And that's how God is, brother, there's no other way. If I can't understand it perfectly, it doesn't mean that God isn't like that.
41:38This is the problem that many people have, because it forms heresies; that is, a heresy is saying things contrary to the truth.
41:45because he doesn't understand things, and he interprets it humanly.
41:49So, I don't understand how God is in three persons, so, I join with another, I misinterpret,
41:56Because otherwise, I don't understand; I give it a human interpretation.
42:00And so a lot of heresies arose in the world.
42:03For example, the Jehovah's Witnesses, for example, say that hell does not exist,
42:07Because if God is love, if God is love, hell cannot exist.
42:12How can a loving God send people to hell?
42:16Now it's going to sound human.
42:18But the Bible clearly teaches that it does, and Christ speaks about it many times.
42:22But, look, they formed a heresy because they couldn't understand how a loving God could send people to hell.
42:31So, there are things that we understand very well,
42:37And there are other things that are difficult to understand,
42:40And there are some things we don't understand until we depart for eternity, according to the scriptures.
42:45So, we have to assume that we live by faith.
42:47We do not know God.
42:49So, we're talking about God, brothers.
42:50If eternal life is knowing God, I cannot say, what is it to God?
42:54In total.
42:55I know about God what God revealed to me about Him, and what He revealed to me through Scripture.
42:59But in reality, as far as what God is, I know nothing about him.
43:04Nothing.
43:05God is great.
43:06God is wonderful.
43:07We're talking about God, not a washing machine, a car, or anything like that.
43:12I've had a phone for four years and I still don't know it.
43:16And how much have we been talking about God?
43:20Knowing God is precious, but we need an eternity to know Him.
43:25And I'll go to the last point and finish.
43:29I'll go to the last point and then I'm done, brother.
43:37The knowledge of Christ is the work of the Father.
43:40In other words, knowing Jesus is not a human intelligence, the human intellect.
43:50You need God to reveal it to you, according to the Bible, because of the fall and spiritual death.
43:58It requires divine revelation.
44:00No one can know the Father without knowing the Son, and no one can come to know the Son unless the Father reveals him.
44:07That is what the scriptures teach us, and that is because of the spiritual death that is in human beings.
44:11And now I'm going to read to you, in Matthew 16:13 it tells us,
44:15Seeing the gathering at Caesarea Philippi, Jesus asked his disciple, saying,
44:21Who says to men that he is the Son of Man?
44:24They said, one said John the Baptist, others Elijah, and others Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.
44:32He said to them, “What do you say that I am?”
44:36Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
44:41He answers him, and then Christ says to him,
44:44Then Jesus answered,
44:47Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah,
44:50because it was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by a Father who is in heaven.
44:55Right? The flesh didn't reveal it to you, it didn't reveal it to you.
44:57What do you mean by meat, brother?
44:59Your intelligence, your intellect, didn't reveal it to you.
45:04or another intelligent human being.
45:06That revelation comes directly from my Father.
45:10Directly from my Father.
45:11Therefore, no one can know Jesus unless God reveals him.
45:14And I'm going to read one more verse about that.
45:18In John 6, John chapter 6, verse 41, it tells us,
45:22The Jews murmured about him then, because he had said,
45:26I am the bread that came down from heaven.
45:28And he said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph,
45:31whose Father and Mother do we know?
45:35So how can this one say, "I have come down from heaven," right?
45:39And Jesus answered, saying to them, do not murmur among yourselves,
45:43No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them.
45:48and I will raise him up on the last day.
45:50It is written in the prophets, and you will all be taught by God.
45:57So everything that hears the Father and learns from him comes to me.
46:01Brother, it's very clear here.
46:04No one can come to me unless the Father who gave me draws them.
46:08And that one, brother, translated, and when they look, it says,
46:12If my Father did not draw me along, it would be a spiritual drawing along.
46:18It is not an obligation, but a condition that God imposes through the Spirit.
46:22It's as if God foretold you like this, and would lead you to Jesus.
46:26If it were physically, that would be my Son.
46:30If He doesn't do that for you, you can't know,
46:33because no one can come to me.
46:36Therefore, not every religion can know Jesus.
46:39and be saved if the Father does not reveal to him who Jesus is.
46:45So, do all roads lead to heaven?
46:48No, brother.
46:49Only our Lord Jesus Christ can lead us to heaven.
46:52Not just any religion.
46:53God does not belong, as we think, to any denomination,
46:56But it has a clear path.
46:59That being said, He is as He is.
47:02I talked about that today with a sister of mine who called me from England.
47:06God, brother, I say to you many times,
47:07He wants me to know Him as He is.
47:11Only in this way can you have a real relationship with God.
47:14God reveals himself through Scripture,
47:16and helps you through the power of the Spirit to know Him.
47:19He wants me to know him as he is,
47:20to enjoy His person exactly as He is.
47:24If I don't see God in reality as He is,
47:26Therefore, the God I interpret is a lie.
47:29and reality does not exist.
47:30For example, if I were to say that God doesn't care if I steal,
47:37It's not real, it's a lie.
47:39That God does not exist.
47:40And so on.
47:42Therefore, that is why God wants us to know Him exactly as He is.
47:47what kind of person he is.
47:48Because that leads us to enjoy their person,
47:51to know it, to love something that is real.
47:55Not loving a God who doesn't even exist.
47:58For example, the God who loved people,
48:01that sacrificed his children, did not exist.
48:05He loved a God, and it is real.
48:06In fact, he was a demon, according to Scripture.
48:09But he was not a god.
48:10So, that's why I encourage you, brother,
48:13that you seek God, that you know God,
48:15in order to enjoy their company,
48:18and to get to know him, because as I told you before,
48:20That is the purpose of life.
48:22To truly know God.
48:25And to be with Him eternally.
48:27In other words, not every path leads to God.
48:28To that one, who is our Lord,
48:31is their Christ.
48:32Lord, we thank you for that case, Lord.
48:34We thank you for blessing us through your word, Lord.
48:38As your word says, and we believe what he says,
48:40because you are the shepherd,
48:42You are the way, the truth, and the life.
48:45And the good thing, Lord, is that you came to give us life,
48:48and life in abundance, Lord.
48:50Glory to your holy name, Lord.
48:53Thank you for loving us so much, Lord.
48:56And I ask you this afternoon, Lord,
48:58that the hearts that are here,
49:00that he may be convinced by your word,
49:01that it may be edifying to his soul,
49:04for his inner being,
49:05May it bring benefit to your being, Lord.
49:08I ask this in the name of your Son.
49:11Amen.
49:11Amen.
49:11Amen.
49:21Amen.
49:22Amen.
49:22Amen.
