00:00Well, well, well, well. Some tech, some technical buff here. Technical buff. So,
00:19you know, the Cube amp has left-right outputs in it. Right, so I've got a Y cable into the input of one of my BR-80s to record this performance. The idea is, I mean, I could have done that years ago, you know, but like, you know, it took me years to work it out.
00:48I wonder what those outputs could be used for. So, that would do, so that's, you know, I could literally, because that's, why not be back and trying to, I could literally record every live performance, because my best performance is out in the street, like, you know, obviously, you know, it's, you know, sometimes I'm having a great day and there might be a few people stood around and I'm just, like, cooking it, you know, so, erm, usually in the afternoon there's a bit of blues going on, you know,
01:18and so that would record the performance. Now, I lie, I did do that years ago when I first got my amp, I did try it, but I just thought it wasn't just, it wasn't, it wasn't pushed enough, so,
01:29but what you do if you marry that, well, this is what I'm doing, if I marry that with the Moises software app, which is, it's great, you know, it's great really, like, I mean, I'm doing some, you know, erm, I've gone back with some stuff and I've just, it's basically just altering levels,
01:51but it gives a nice, er, master mix as well, at the end, it's AI, so, it's analysing the sound, so, it's giving you the right, so, as long as you sort of get, get the right levels,
02:04it'll, it'll, it'll do a nice job, but it's allowing you to do, get the right levels from, er, you know, er, any wav, so, you're waving, so, this goes on to a stereo wav,
02:15me live performance, and it doesn't matter, there, that, that, the vocals are going to be too loud, or, whatever, you know, erm, because I can just, it'll just bring the vocals down,
02:27in, in the Moises, and that oomph, you know, add a bit of, because, obviously, there's no, there's no compression coming through here, me live performances, so,
02:36I'd add, add that data, which is what I'm doing, so, it's really, and, plus, you can add instrumentation as well, if you want, which, which, erm,
02:43you know, you'd be amazed, at how a piano, can, and, you know, really fill out a, a barn leg, and, you know,
02:58erm, not heavy metal leg, but, you know, like, er, well, a keyboard, you know, deep open, and all that, absolutely, but, you know,
03:06John Lord was making his keyboard, basically, sound like a letter of guitar, and, but, like, er, er, er, just a, er,
03:13keyboard, plinkly-plonged keyboard, you know, erm, you know, it really does fill out with sound, in, in, jazz, blues, you know, country,
03:24you know, all's, pop music, all sorts of stuff, so, it's, that's a nice touch to put that in, but, it's mainly just to get the levels right,
03:31so, I mean, what I could do, is, you know, I've got me, if I've got me mobile phone, or even this camera, and I can just, if I'm out,
03:38abroad, and that, you know, and just, stick the camera on, erm, I mean, obviously, I mean, I could get, like, a little,
03:48a little camera, like, would, like, pin to riposte, or something, over there, er, erm, I mean, this set up here,
03:57having a camera right in front of us, looks a bit ridiculous on the street, so, maybe, it's a little mobile phone,
04:02could go in here, or something, but then, you know, you're getting, you're getting a close-up of the, the head,
04:08you know, so, you know, but, I think, you know, at the end of the day, what's really important, is the music, innit,
04:14so, that, that, that, does that, like, you know, that, that pretty much does that, now, who's the winner,
04:20well, Roland's the winner, Boss is the winner, the BR-80s, as usual, and, this Moises is,
04:28it's, it's just great, you know, because, you can do, mixes on stuff, and, you can be convinced,
04:36you can keep on coming back to it, and you'll be convinced, it's, everything's right, and then,
04:41you listen a week later, and it's, it's out of the place, and can you really be bothered to,
04:46crack open the multi-track, or, really, you know, whatever it is you do, and go back to it, and mix,
04:51you know, you've moved on, well, you know, if it's just a five-second job, and Moises to, bish, bosh, bash,
04:57and, erm, and it's done, then, it's done, innit, so, that's what I'm doing there.
05:13I am currently rehearsing now, for, 2026, just, just waiting for it, er, I mean, it's not,
05:22it's warmly day, actually, we're in the middle of January, 2026, and, I'm probably going to get
05:29away, my next week or two, even if it's pissing down the road, I'm still going, I want to get back
05:35on the road, I want to get, get, get back to it, you know, er, the, this channel, is,
05:43come, apparently, apparently, YouTube have changed the algorithm, or something, because everybody's
05:50just, like, deserting, or just, throwing it out, and what's the point, you know, people with 200,000
05:55subscribers, I just, er, I've had enough, you know, it's, it's when you do a video, you know,
06:00and, you know, if you do a video, er, and you, you put it up, you may put a lot of work into it,
06:06gets no views, erm, and then you'll get something else, and then they'll get a load of views,
06:12it's just, it's just bollocks, you know, erm, you know, there's seven billion people on
06:17the planet, you know, I should be getting, I should be getting, you know, a thousand of
06:23views, a video, erm, you know, easy, and not just, not just, not just what happens now,
06:30is you put a video up, and you'll get a couple of dozen views, or something, er, it's like a
06:36pubbing at me regulars, er, you get your regulars knocking them back, but then,
06:42the videos are just completely dying, but I think they've changed that, because, er,
06:46they're basically shitting themselves, because, you know, there is a backlash against the
06:52AI, and, erm, there's gonna be changes, like, you know, you know, if, if, if YouTube kept
06:58on going, and think they're gonna have AI replacing everybody, like, you know, then, I think they've,
07:05they've realised that it's, that's not, not gonna happen like that, like, you know, I mean,
07:10personally, obviously, I, I, I think the AI's gonna be a great, you know, a great, erm, a great
07:18tool, you know, to, you know, to, I mean, I'm doing that at the moment, slightly, you know,
07:26er, but, what I've done is created other channels, what's happening is this, right, what's happening
07:33is this, right, on July the 27th, finito, I've got videos, you know, em, in advance, you know,
07:47put up, all the way up until July the 27th, 2026, and that's when I finish, it's just, just happened,
07:54I, it just, was just, that, that was a date, I've got all these videos, I'll put them up,
07:59and, that'll be the date, I'm, obviously, this may go up, and there's other little things
08:04may go up, but there's very few days left now, where there's a gap, and I'm not putting
08:08two videos, it stops on July the 27th, Rob Redhead Archives has finished, two reasons,
08:15one is, obviously, what I'm talking about, and the other one is that, erm, it's, it's completed
08:21anyway, we Rob Redhead Archives, I mean, it's done, you know, it's, well, for YouTube, it's
08:27done, obviously, I'm, I'm 57, I'm still being creative, and I'm still being a musician,
08:31but, you know, I, you know, me archives is, me archives, and it's done, and, so, this channel
08:40finishes then, right, that's it, completely done, right, and, I've got other channels, because,
08:51as the AI comes in, I'm going to want to create great videos for my Gethra and stuff,
08:56that I had in my head, but I couldn't, I couldn't create, you know, you know, all these
09:02ideas, I could, but I couldn't create them, erm, I go down and just walk around in this
09:07costume that I had for my puppetry, you know, and that was as near as I could get, you know,
09:12but, you know, you could, I always imagined that the Gethra and stuff would be, like, a lot
09:16of animation, and, you know, just very creative, very arty, you know, erm, the AI is going to
09:26do that, so I'm embracing the AI, maybe, because I'm going to get all these sort of, this sort
09:30of, these videos, really, it's really for a visual thing for me, like, it's the visual
09:37thing, but also the, the AI is, is, erm, you know, going to do great productions on everything,
09:46you know, I mean, you take, take the album, I mean, I'm, this was supposed to be a book
09:50two-minute talk, you take the album, Future Warriors, right, Atomcraft, erm, without going
09:58into too much detail, right, put it this way, well, you know what it is, right, erm, AI,
10:07that album's going to be completely shit hot, and it's going to show, er, the band, the
10:16three pieces that we were at the time on the first album, it's going to show, really, how
10:23good we are, how good we were, as a, as a young three-piece heavy metal band, you know,
10:31you know, catching the end of the new wave of British heavy metal, and this thrash invasion
10:36coming in, but we were, we were big, and that's a sign of a good band, a great band, is that
10:41big, and it was for a first album, it was, it was, it, for a first album, the production
10:48inactual, completely, and, even with a few tweaks, they can hear, how good, that them
11:03songs were, actually, how good the band was, I mean, my guitar player is just, for a 16-year-old,
11:09it's just fucking immense, like, you know, I mean, I'm doing stuff on the guitar, very,
11:14just completely creative, er, I've always been like that, but, erm, you know, a fair
11:19deuce to, you know, I'm 16, and, and you've got, like, Jed, the drummer, at 20, Tony Dolan,
11:27the bass player, singer, at 20, and, I was doing stuff, guitar solos, and that, that, just,
11:36not, not, not, not how we, people were doing guitar solos, just doing me own thing, and then,
11:42I just remember, I, I never remember, remember anything, anybody saying, oh, well, could,
11:50should, should you not, just be, like, playing, like, a guitar solo, no, it was so, erm, but,
11:57you know, they were young as well, we're all young, so, erm, it was just, well, that sounds
12:04different, you know, what he's doing there, because it was, you know, and, where does that
12:08come from, me background in the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, erm, Rush, Alex Lifeson, but me,
12:20you know, it's just me, but anyway, that album, is going to be shit hot with AI, I mean, you
12:26know, I'm of an age, and I know the other lads will be of, of an age as well, that we're
12:31just, you know, there's, there's things you feel, you know, it's, it's just the way it
12:37was, I mean, see, the Future Warriors album is, erm, is it, you know, as it's been, is
12:44being a good lo-fi, erm, you know, it's of its time, it's of that era, it's of that, you
12:52know, record label, neat records, you know, it's that thing, Venom had the same sound, you
12:58know, the Avenger, the Tyson, it was all that same sort of sound, you know, quite reverby
13:02and that, but I'll not go, I'll not go into that, erm, but, but it has its own, erm, nostalgia,
13:08its own thing, it's, you know, it's that old school vibe, but, certainly as a musicians,
13:13I can definitely speak, for, really, all the other bands, like, you know, that really would
13:24have preferred, er, the sort of, the sort of production the American bands were getting,
13:29you know, erm, and it wasn't to do with the double track guitars or anything, it was just,
13:36it's, it's just, it's just productions, you know, erm, that's how it was, erm, so, I would
13:47imagine, you're gonna get a lot of bands, I'm, I'm just talking now about your sort of,
13:54mid-80s, you know, heavy metal stuff, you know, I can imagine your Tyson dogs, your Avengers,
14:02actually, Raven always had a good, Raven always had a good sound, like, you know, all for one,
14:10I thought it was a great album, I had that, and I thought it was a great punchy, punchy sound, erm,
14:17so, I, you know, I don't know what was, what happened there, but, erm, er, the AI is gonna,
14:26there'll be all, there'll be, there'll be, I mean, look at all the, all the new wave of British
14:31heavy metal stuff, right, it would all, doesn't matter what label or what, and I want it, the
14:39British stuff, I mean, it would all benefit for, from shithard production, like, so there's
14:44gonna be a lot of that going on, there'll be a lot of bands that people will discover and
14:48say, why, why weren't these massive, well, you know, apart from all the politics and
14:55everything else that was going on with the band, you know, maybe to look at the original
14:59production, or something like that, you know, it's not all that, it's not 100% that, but it's
15:03just a contributing factor, and you can only go with what you've got, like, you know, erm, so
15:08there'll be, not just Atomcraft, I mean, I think, I think it's just the, for me, it's just the
15:13Future Warriors, really, it's just the Future Warriors album, I'm, I'm looking forward to
15:17something shithard, so that's enough of Atomcraft anyway, erm, the other channels I've got, the
15:2615 channels, erm, are going to be, the mostly the AI stuff, erm, because I don't want to get them, I don't want to get
15:38mixed up, I don't want to get the AI stuff mixed up with me Rob Redhead archives, so the Rob Redhead archives,
15:43apart from some little things I've been doing in 2005, er, 2025, time's gone so fast, 2025, apart from
15:52the odd few little, AI bits creeping in, erm, right at the end, then it'll stop, July 27th, and any other
16:02stuff I do in the future, I'll go, go up on these individual channels, now, if you are following
16:08us, and you, you know, and you, you know, erm, you know, subscribe, you know, leave little
16:17likes, erm, I mean, you could at least do that, you know, if, if, if you're a, doesn't matter what it is,
16:25right, if you can appreciate what I'm doing, and the work that I put in, er, just give a little subscribe,
16:32you know, I mean, I've said before, it, it means nothing, because there's people with 200,000 subscribers
16:39throwing the, throwing the towel in with YouTube anyway, but it, I mean, just do that anyway, just, just do
16:46that, you know, just do that, you know, er, just for your own, erm, self happiness, you know, your own
16:54contentment, you know, oh, it's okay, he's okay with me, because I did that, you know, er, make conscious
17:00is clear, this happened, you see, that's all you've got to do, you know, and, but, you know, if you're
17:10awful, don't, basically, you know, I know a lot of people like what I'm doing, like me work, you
17:17know, and, you know, there may, there may have been, sort of, criticisms, you know, erm, well, you know, he's
17:29rubbed at archives, he's got all sorts of different types of music on it, you know, one minute into this, the next minute
17:35is that, well, two things, one is it's called an archives, because it's in archives, right, I'm not trying to be a rock star, I'm just putting, because I am a rock star, I'm just putting my
17:45music, I'm just putting the live times, that's all the archives, it's not going to be, I'm not going to start doing interviews and selling products and all that, it's just the archives of my work, you know, I mean, if I was doing that, I'd be, I'd have got a lot more subscribers, you know, I'd be flying, no, but I'm not going to, I'm not a shop assistant, I'm not going to become that, you know, you know, I'm not online, er, guitar sales, that's not me, like, I'm a creative musician, I'm a creative person, erm, so,
18:14so, you know, oh, what was I fucking saying, erm, so, you know, there's, the archives is the archives, now, the other thing as well, I mean, I, I grew up listening to the Beatles, you know, the, on a, you know, on the White Album, you've got Mortham Idea and Helter Skelter on the same album,
18:38what I'm saying is, you know, you're growing up with a young mind and, oh, that must be how you, that must be what you do, you must write music in different styles, you know,
18:50er, you must be able, you must have to play the guitar in all sorts of different styles, that's what you must have to do, you know, and then when I'm, er, 13 and I'm, bang, it's Led Zeppelin,
19:00so I'm looking on, I'm looking on the back cover of Zepp 4 and it's, it's like, Jimmy Page, he goes, ah, Jimmy Page, he writes the songs, he plays the guitar, that's, that sounds like me, that, wow, look at this,
19:11produced by Jimmy, he's even doing the production, so we're not only on Zeppelin writing different styles of music, like Led Zeppelin, like the Beatles,
19:20he's also playing the guitar and being a producer as well, that's like, that's, that sounds like me sort of thing, see, so some 13-year-olds are just wanting to, you know, get the hair spiky
19:31in 1983 and, er, come, you know, get the chicks, you know, and a party and be like the Monty Crew, well, I'm looking at, for me, it's, it's, it's, it's the songs,
19:44it's the songwriting, it's the production, it's the musicianship, you know, I mean, you definitely need one of me in a band, like, you know,
19:52so the rest can get off and party, that, that would be, you have to have somebody like that, or else it's just a shambles, you know,
19:59but it takes everybody to be a band, like, obviously, you know, you take, you know, you know, you've got to have your Keith Moons,
20:07so, it takes everybody to make a great band, erm, but, so that's,
20:12and I don't think it's, I don't think it's been too, I don't think it's been much of a hassle for people to, like, look
20:21on the Rob Redhead archives and go, oh, another heavy metal song, when's he, when's he going to do some more pop,
20:30guitar pop or something, you know, I don't even like this AI slop, when's he going to, like, just sit in a caravan,
20:37freezing his bollocks off, er, singing a song, you know, so, you know,
20:42there's playlists there, you know,
20:46but, the individual channels are specifically for that, but, what I was going to say as well,
20:51before I went on that big circle ramble, was, don't hold your breath, because,
20:56I'm ahead of the curve with the AI, and I know,
21:00how it's going to be, just ridiculous,
21:03in its ability, so,
21:06even the few little bits of AI done, that I've been video editing,
21:11I mean, video editing's a thing of the past,
21:13in, probably,
21:15I would say, at the earliest 12 months time,
21:19video editing is,
21:21a thing of the past,
21:23it's all prompts, with a few photographs,
21:25and a, maybe it's a soundtrack, you know,
21:27everybody's going to be doing this,
21:29you're going to have fans of, of bands doing it, you know,
21:32you know, say, fans of Attencraft, fans of Venom,
21:35fans of, all, you know,
21:37Raven, all the bands,
21:39you know,
21:40you know, I mentioned them,
21:43because that's part of my history, you know,
21:45and,
21:47they'll be creating videos,
21:50so, you know,
21:52you've got a lot of musicians,
21:53they'll be like, every time they switch the internet on,
21:56from old bands,
21:57you know,
21:58especially, I think, the new wave,
21:59British heavy metal stuff, like, I think,
22:01I think there's going to be a lot of musicians,
22:03will be just,
22:05every week, they'll be hearing,
22:07what they did,
22:0840 years ago,
22:09and thinking,
22:10I can't remember the production being that awesome,
22:13and,
22:14I'm a lot thinner than I used to be,
22:16and I look fucking shit hot there,
22:18like, who's done this,
22:19who's created this video,
22:20just somebody who likes the band,
22:23from the other side of the world,
22:24so, you know,
22:25that's when it just goes, boom,
22:28everything's out there,
22:29and I'm just,
22:30I'm just,
22:31when it's like that,
22:33I'm just with everybody else,
22:35I'm part of everybody else,
22:36you know,
22:37I've just,
22:38my individual AI channels,
22:39I need different,
22:40you know,
22:42I know that's all mentally,
22:44you know,
22:44but,
22:45how are they going to stop it,
22:47you know,
22:47and,
22:49I think it's people who are fans,
22:53fans of music,
22:54you know,
22:54just do a good job,
22:55you know,
22:56but,
22:59that sort of makes this Rob Redhead archives,
23:03quite,
23:04quite valuable,
23:06really,
23:07because it is the,
23:10warts and all,
23:11lo-fi,
23:13pre,
23:15AI apocalypse,
23:16you know,
23:18data of,
23:20my music,
23:23and,
23:23just,
23:25the,
23:25my,
23:25the bands I was in,
23:27and it's that,
23:28that era,
23:30of all that,
23:30that you pick all that up,
23:31in the sound,
23:33you pick all that up,
23:33in the lyrics,
23:34photos,
23:37and,
23:38that's,
23:39that's why the Rob Redhead archives,
23:41it's not just about me,
23:42it's about,
23:42it's about this era,
23:45you know,
23:46er,
23:481980s,
23:50through till now,
23:51of,
23:52you know,
23:54of,
23:55um,
23:55ground level,
23:58musician,
23:59songs,
24:00bands,
24:01it's a,
24:01it's a little historical document,
24:04you know,
24:04it definitely is like,
24:06and it finishes,
24:08on July,
24:09the 27th,
24:11so,
24:13what will I do with this video,
24:15I was only going to talk for literally two minutes,
24:17and then start playing,
24:18and I've just kept on going,
24:20so,
24:21this could be,
24:22the very last video,
