Justin Rose delighted by career-first albatross at TGL

Justin Rose says it was 'so cool' to celebrate his first ever albatross with his LAGC team-mates.

00:00For sure. I mean, listen, I picked up my tee, or it wasn't a tee, it was off the fairway,

00:03but I picked up my other club, my five iron, because I just, you know, I knew, didn't know

00:06I was going in, but, you know, as a player, I knew that I executed, and as soon as I saw

00:10it kind of take off and stay straight, I'm like, that's going to be good. So that's kind

00:14of why I was like, well, I can't do anything about it now, I may as well start walking,

00:17and I was kind of walking to get my putter. Obviously, ended up not needing my putter,

00:20which was exciting, and that's the surprise, right? You know, you can hit a great shot,

00:24but the outcome is always slightly out of your control. But I was dead set, loved the way it

00:30felt at the club, and then you get that moment where you're like, oh my God, it's gone in,

00:33and, you know, that's kind of that surprise moment, which is amazing, and yeah, it was

00:37fun to celebrate with the boys, and it was a cool moment, for sure.
