02:48I think of all the champions that we've had over the years, it's hard to think of anyone

03:50Beat El Desperado, upset El Desperado to win that championship.

03:56And then, as you mentioned, January 4th, 2025, when he broke his arm, went on the shelf,
04:04saw the rest of his teammates join up with Hontai, El Desperado included.
04:10Doki was never consulted, but he was consulted by Oshinova Kanemaru.

04:19He was promised the entire muscle of that organization behind him to ensure that he would be the Junior Heavyweight Champion.
04:29and Junior Heavyweight Champion he is, he sold his soul to get there for a second time.
04:38And once he was there, did everything in his power to make sure.
04:43Oshinova Kanemaru is the 99th IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, House of Torture,

05:01It wasn't your decision, Oskar, and I know you and I took offense,
05:07but Oira and Zack Saber Jr. passed up the Tokyo Dome spot,
05:12passed up the WrestleKingdom Payday to challenge you at New Year Dash.
05:17It was Doki's decision, by choice, to avoid wrestling in that spotlight.
05:24And some would say, well Doki would say that he was above the whole affair,
05:30but I think everybody who knows knows that he was terrified.
05:34He was terrified of being in the same position.
05:36He was terrified of getting injured again.
05:39Which fair, I mean, that's a big injury he got at the Dome.
05:43And I think also the trauma was still heavy on him, so it makes sense that he was scared,
05:48just like Oira was scared losing against KB on the biggest stage in Japanese wrestling.

06:54and we will have no gold with House of Torture,
06:57which is certainly something that a lot of people want to see.
07:02I thought the story could go out tonight.
07:03We'd be pleased to see Doki lose his Junior title.

07:11to see how Doki won the Junior Heavyweight Championship
07:14for a second time.
07:16It was certainly in the least clean of fashions.
07:21And it was the series of shots to the head,
07:25not from Doki but from Sho,
07:27that made sure Doki was a two-time champion.
07:30I've said it before, they lose it out, cheating to their advantage
07:36and often win with it.
07:40But at this point, you've got to also wonder,
07:42like, what are the referees in Japan doing?
07:44They should get a, I think, a seminar or something.
07:47So many times, they just blatantly don't see it.
07:51Now, sometimes it can be, like we talked about earlier on,
07:58a case of fighting fire with fire,
08:01and El Desperado has absolutely no qualms
08:04about doing that whatsoever.
08:06And Oskar is going to send Doki off into the ropes,
08:13who's going to hang on here.
08:16And down goes the challenger
08:19to the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.
08:22Do you think, Oskar, that having someone like El Desperado
08:27in the Hontai rank,

14:41hand really since minute one of this matchup we have not seen this despite this being the third house
14:48of torture match this evening we hadn't seen much outside interference or any outside

15:13He always has a game plan in mind and I think he kind of also got that game plan in Kalamado back in the
15:18United States for Suzuki. He probably taught him all that which makes him such a good broker, such a good wrestler.
15:24You're exactly right. El Descorado attributes a lot of his career, his in-ring smarts to Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
15:32In fact, when they were all in Suzuki again together, El Descorado lobbied very hard for Kanemaru to team with Doki in the first place.
15:41And so it all came around full circle and Kanemaru managed to recruit Doki in a house to torture last summer.
15:49Maybe regretting those words now.
