00:24and your role and responsibility to each other
00:27and to our collective
00:28and so we know that it's going to be
00:31anytime you get a chance to play in an NFC Championship game
00:34there's going to be emotions
00:36and those are going to be a good thing
00:37we just want to make sure that we're in control of those
00:39and we're always responding
00:40not reacting in an emotional way
00:42that's not in alignment with who we want to be
00:44and how we want to go about it for our football team
00:46I think you've got to just
00:49take into account the previous two times
00:52we've been in similar situations
00:55when you look back to the COVID year
00:57we played Seattle three times
00:58playing them in the wild card round
01:00and then our Super Bowl year
01:02we ended up playing the Niners for the third time
01:04in the NFC Championship
01:05both of which we had games late against them
01:09the Niners game was the last game of the year
01:11and then the Seattle one in the COVID year
01:14was I believe the second to last game of the year
01:16so it is an added layer
01:18but it's really just a familiarity
01:20let's put together the best plans
01:22that we can for our guys
01:24and let's understand
01:25what type of execution
01:27and what type of competitive stamina
01:30it's going to take for us
01:31to go get the job done
01:32against as complete a football team
01:35as there is in this league
01:36and as hot of a football team
01:38as there is in this league
01:39I think he's a stud
01:42in terms of just his great energy
01:43he's a lead by example guy
01:45he's got this authentic energy
01:47this just consistent belief
01:50this never say die attitude
01:52and he's got just this mental and physical toughness
01:55and so he is so authentically
01:57and refreshingly himself
01:59and I think that's why it resonates with his teammates
02:02and never asks anything of his teammates
02:04that he's not willing to do
02:05and he's done a hell of a job
02:08Do you have to factor any of that in
02:10to the way you call a game?
02:11No question
02:12and that's part of it too
02:14I think you might say it's a good play
02:16based on whatever they're doing
02:17but is that a good play
02:19also considering those elements
02:21and those are things
02:21you have to be honest with yourself
02:23as a coach about
02:24and what does our footing look like
02:26what are the things
02:26that will allow us to be able to separate
02:28when they are doing
02:29some of their stickier coverages
02:31and I thought we were able to get to those things
02:33later on
02:34that were helpful
02:35but there was too many self-inflicted wounds
02:38and really just overall mental mistakes
02:40that we're not accustomed to having
02:42and a lot of different people
02:43kind of took their hand in it
02:44but when that stuff exists
02:46with the types of players that we have
02:48that's where we talk about it
02:50as a coaching staff
02:51we're not doing a good enough job
02:52with the clarity
02:52and have to be considerate of the plan
02:55and even if we think it's the right thing
02:56it still is about their ability
02:58to be able to go execute
02:59get the communication necessary
03:01in a hostile environment
03:02within the 40 second
03:03or 25 second play clock
03:05and that's where we'll do a better job
03:08and we got the right kinds of guys
03:09to be able to respond to it
03:10and I think the most important thing is
03:12is we figured out a way
03:13to be at our best as a team
03:14when we had to
03:15and that's what it's about
03:17at this time of the year
