01:00It's all about whether or not the executors are acting in the best interest of the estate,
01:06not in their own best interest.
01:08Paris is actually questioning whether or not they are financially gaining
01:12from some of the investments that the estate money is going towards.
01:16One specific example Paris cites is the executor's choice to invest in risky entertainment projects,
01:21including the upcoming Jackson biopic, Michael, starring her cousin Jafar.

01:29One of the executors is producing a Michael Jackson biopic,
01:33and in that biopic, he cast Miles Teller to play himself.
01:37This is something she can bring to the court to say there's a conflict of interest.
01:43Paris also alleging the executors completely failed to invest $464 million properly,
01:49and that if they had, it could have gained $41 million in profits.
01:53If the court were to say that these executors need to be removed for whatever reason,
01:59the children of Michael Jackson could technically take over the estate.
02:03But this is a really complicated financial situation.
02:07And so the court may say that another neutral needs to come in and oversee the estate.
