00:00A crane collapsed in Thailand on Thursday, this time in Samet Saakon province near Bangkok,
00:07killing two people and injuring five others.
00:11The crane, part of an elevated highway construction project, fell onto the road below, crushing two vehicles.
00:18This comes just a day after another crane accident in northeastern Thailand claimed the lives of 32 train passengers.
00:25Authorities say three people are still missing, and 64 others have been hospitalized.
00:30Seven in serious condition.
00:32Transport Minister Fifat Ratchakitprakarn confirmed that the construction was being carried out by Italian Thai Development Public Company Limited.
00:41The company has been linked to several previous accidents,
00:44including the collapse of the state audit office building during an earthquake in March 2025.
00:54Following the latest incident, the company has been ordered to halt all construction
00:59until investigations are completed.
