Boeing topped Airbus in annual jet orders for the first time since 2018, delivering 600 aircraft in 2025 as airlines placed large orders for 737 Max and 787 jets.

00:03Boeing logged net orders for 1,173 airplanes last year,
00:07marking the first time it outsold Airbus since 2018, according to CNBC.
00:12Boeing delivered 63 jetliners in December,
00:15bringing total deliveries for the year to 600 aircraft, the most in seven years.
00:20Of those December deliveries, 44 were 737 MAX jets.
00:25Airbus delivered 793 aircraft last year and recorded 889 net orders for 2025.
00:32Boeing recorded 174 net orders in December,
00:35including more than 10737 MAX jets for Alaska Airlines.
00:40Delta Airlines also ordered at least 30 Boeing 787 Dreamliners,
00:45with deliveries beginning in the early 2000s.
00:48Supply chain issues continue to delay deliveries,
00:50which are critical because airlines pay most of a jet's price upon delivery.
00:54Boeing executives will discuss production plans
