00:25But she suffered a setback in her semifinal match after sustaining a back injury.
00:31Ayala says in an Instagram post, the year would be about being braver, dreaming bigger, and doing more for what matters most.
00:38Ayala next heads to Melbourne for the invitation-only Koo Young Classic from January 13 to 15.
00:45The event will serve as her final preparation for the Australian Open where she earns direct entry thanks to her Top 50 ranking.
