00:00I want to get some cinnamon from the place so I'm out of that. I don't know, you know, but get that. We'll walk up there and I'm packing right now at the house.
00:16I don't know. I'm going to call him later on to find out, you know, because I want to know what the deal is, but we'll do something. I know what I want to talk to him about.
00:40So, you know, we'll get that down. I want to do the travel app. And I sent my travel planner to a lady I know that has an agency in San Diego. She tried it. She really liked it. It's my travel app. The travel app that makes the thing. Have you tried that? Yeah, yeah, yeah. She loved it.
01:07Everybody since I've been to Sinop asked me the same question. Why Sinop?
01:14I always look at them strangely because Sinop is such a wonderful place. And if you had to live in America or lived in Los Angeles, you would know Sinop is an absolutely beautiful place to live. It's nice people. Beautiful town. Historic town. Very, very nice.
01:38Sinop'un çok güzel bir yer olduğunu söyledi. Çok kültürel açıdan zengin olduğunu söyledi. Naturel bir yer olduğunu söyledi. Kısacası böyle. Biz buraya 2021'in sonlarında geldik. 2022'de tamamen taşınmış olduk.
01:56Sinop'ta eşimi buldum diyor. Ben Sinop'a yıllardır geliyordum diyor. Ve geldikçe Sinop'u daha çok sevmeye başladım diyor.
02:26Los Angeles is a very huge city. It's actually smaller than Istanbul, but it's a big city, just like it. Very busy, lots of traffic, lots of everything.
02:39I was in the media business in Los Angeles. So I had a wide variety of clients. I owned my own business and I worked with almost everybody who was in LA in the entertainment business.
02:54And this was something that was very interesting to me and I did very well.
03:02Sinop is the opposite of Los Angeles. It's very small. Everybody knows each other. Most people are related to each other.
03:11And I came here and it was a whole different place. So there could not be two places that were different.
03:20But for me, I had had my fill with Los Angeles and to a certain extent the United States as well.
03:28And I was just happy to come over and meet new people, meet a new culture, learn about a new history.
03:35And the history here is so amazing that it's always very interesting to me.
03:41Los Angeles'in çok kalabalık olduğundan bahsetti.
04:07So I still own a company back in the United States. And right now I'm into AI development.
04:17So I work on AI projects and developing different AI tools that I'm trying to market.
04:26So that is what I'm doing right now from day to day.
04:29Also, I'm involved in the travel agency. My wife is involved with a company that does tours.
04:40And I'm helping her create content for that in my American company.
04:45So we're doing that. We're building up.
04:48So my day is filled up with social media, Instagram.
04:52I do food reviews and on Instagram.
04:58And that is the sort of thing I'm doing every day.
05:01It seems like the day is too short every day. I don't get enough done.
05:04Şimdi şöyle diyor. Sabah kahvesini içtikten sonra bütün gün neredeyse laptop başında yapay zeka ile projeler üretiyor.
05:14Seyahat ajantalarıyla çalışmaya başlayacağız.
05:16Onlar için içerikler üretiyoruz diyor. Bütün günüm neredeyse böyle geçiyor diyor.
05:20I love manta. I love the cenote manta with the walnuts and then the sauce, the sour cream, not sour cream, but yogurt sauce, garlic yogurt sauce.
05:31I love that. I love hamsi. Plenty of hamsi.
05:36And hamsi is new. I've had hamsi, but if you have hamsi in the United States, it comes in a can.
05:45So it's all canned. It's got oil on it. And it's called the sardine.
05:53It's a different type of fish. It's the same fish. It's a different sort of delivery system.
05:59So having fresh hamsi and eating that all in one bite. I love that. I like that a lot.
06:07And that's very good.
06:09But you almost cannot compare American food to Turkish food because Turkish food is so, so good.
06:19It's so good and so much better than American food and so much more healthy for you than American food.
06:26So everything I eat in Turkey, I love. I really have not eaten anything I don't like in Turkey.
06:34I love mantığı da çok seviyorum diyor. Mantığının özellikle işte cevizli odanını, yoğurtlusunu da seviyorum diyor.
06:56Çünkü Türk yemekleri çok güzel ve zengin diyor. Ben çok seviyorum diyor.
07:02One thing is like the people in Sinope and the people in Turkeya generally are very, very friendly, very kind people.
07:15Americans have a different kind of hospitality.
07:19Probably Americans are more open, like Americans will talk to you quicker and sooner than maybe a Turk would talk to a stranger.
07:28But the people of Turkeya, certainly the people of Sinope, the people of Sinope are special because they are more friendly, they are more open, they are very kind.
07:43There's a real soul in the Turkish people that you feel like you're truly welcome.
07:51You know, you feel like you're truly getting that person when you're talking to them.
07:57So I love the Turkish personality.
08:00I love the Turkish persona.
08:02I love the Turkish sense of humor too.
08:05It's quite a bit more like American humor than people might believe.
08:10But it's very ironic type of humor.
08:13So I love Turkeya.
08:15I love Turkeya and the people.
08:16You know, one of the things that really
08:46has surprised me and that I've tried to take some steps to improve is how special Sinope of a place is.
08:56This town, see for me as an American to even say this is hard, but this town is 3,000 years old.
09:08That's not conceivable to an American mind.
09:12You just can't think that far back.
09:15You know, this is the most special place on the Black Sea.
09:20This is the history of the entire Black Sea.
09:25To come here and visit this town, this is where trade on the Black Sea started.
09:31They used to mint their own coins here.
09:36This is the most special place on the Black Sea and certainly in Turkey, but on the Black Sea anywhere here.
09:46So come to Sinope, learn its history, see the prison, do all kinds of things.
09:53But when you're here, know that you're at the very beginnings of trade in the Black Sea.
10:00This is where it started.
10:02Sinope için kültürününün ne kadar eski olduğunu söylüyor.
10:05Tarihin ne kadar eski olduğunu söylüyor.
10:073,000 yıllık bir tarihi var Sinope'un sonuçta.
