00:00Mrs. Gable refused to sell her tiny, overgrown garden for 30 years,
00:05even as a massive shopping mall was built right up to her fence.
00:08But when the architects finally stepped inside her gate, they realized why.
00:13Mrs. Gable was 82 years old and lived alone in a small cottage,
00:17her wild garden standing like a jungle amid concrete and neon lights.
00:22Developers offered millions, free shopping for life, even a mansion.
00:26But she ignored every offer, tending her roses instead.
00:30The city mocked her as the thorn of Main Street.
00:33Then one afternoon, a young landscape architect visited with rare seeds, not a contract.
00:39To everyone's surprise, she invited him inside.
00:42What he found hidden beneath the vines wasn't just a garden.
00:45It was proof from the past that could stop the mall forever.
