00:03So when I heard it, I was like, wow, I guess there's an additional ang pao, you know, to be collected across the year after Chinese New Year.
00:10So it's pretty amazing. I'm pretty excited for it.
00:17A budget for all Singaporeans, where every Singaporean is supported from birth to old age, with more support given to those with less.
00:26That's how Prime Minister Lawrence Wong described Budget 2025, which is aimed at tackling cost of living pressures, equipping workers throughout their lives, and recognising the contributions of all Singaporeans through an SG60 package.
00:41So, what do Singaporeans think of the measures? Let's find out.
00:46I have three kids. They are aged from 4 to 12. And when I get to know about this, it helps me to have an ease that this budget can put aside for their own learning experience at school and outside school.
01:00And because apparently the cost of living is on the rise. So me and my husband really appreciate this kind of effort that was provided by the government.
01:07CAC option. Because I can use that to offset my liquid cash. And I can use the amount saved for something else.
01:14I think the dollar to dollar match for MediSafe really helps a lot. It is really beneficial for the seniors.
01:22As we age, we have a lot of health problems. So anything that is for the MediSafe is really good.
01:28You know, a lot of times we don't really actually talk about this as much, you know, after school, right? Because now we have all started working.
01:37So to actually be able to be incentivised, to actually go learn more about our culture, that is something that really caught my attention as well.
01:45For these $600 of the day, actually nowadays that the rental is very high in the market right now.
01:50So hopefully this will keep my business going so I feel very contented and happy.
01:59As PM Wong pointed out in his budget speech on Tuesday, the $143 billion budget ensures that no one is left behind.
02:08And while the road ahead will not be without challenges, Mr Wong added that he is confident our best states lie ahead.
