00:05of Aleppo in northern Syria following the renewed outbreak of armed clashes between government

00:11forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces.

00:21Aleppo has witnessed days of armed confrontations that have resulted in deaths and injuries

00:27amid overlapping zones of control between the Syrian government and neighbourhoods held

00:32by the Syrian Democratic Forces, particularly in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafyeh areas.

00:37It is worth noting that on March 10, 2025, Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharah signed an agreement

00:45with SDF commander Masloum Abdi, stipulating the integration of civil and military institutions

00:52in northeastern Syria into the administration of the Syrian state, including border crossing

00:57sourses, airports and oil and gas fields.

01:00However, the agreement has yet to be implemented due to disagreements between the two sides

01:05over the mechanism for integrating SDF forces into the Ministry of Defense of the new government,

01:11in addition to other disputes related to the governance of northeastern Syria.
