दिल्ली के तुर्कमान गेट इलाके में रामलीला मैदान के पास स्थित फैज-ए-इलाही मस्जिद के आसपास आधी रात को शुरू हुई अवैध अतिक्रमण हटाने की कार्रवाई के दौरान इलाके में तनावपूर्ण माहौल बन गया और विरोध कर रहे लोगों ने पुलिस पर पथराव किया। जिसके तुर्कमान गेट पर भारी पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया और कार्रवाई को अंजाम दिया गया। इस दौरान हिंसा करने वालों में से 5 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। फिलहाल दिल्ली का तुर्कमान गेट छावनी बन गया है।
