00:00Ineos employed a manager to do a job
00:02He wasn't the perfect fit as a Man United manager
00:05I don't think the board have helped him
00:06I don't think he helped himself a lot
00:12It's a bit of a weird one
00:14Because the results could deem him to get the sack anyway
00:19But I don't think he's been sacked because of results
00:21I think they were backing him to give him time
00:23And now he's had a bit of a power struggle
00:26And a bit of an argument with Jason Wilcox
00:28I assumed that there was only one winner
00:30They knew he was changing the system
00:32They knew he was stubborn and wanted to play that system
00:34I think some of his decision making has been a bit questionable
00:37But I think there is definitely an improvement in the team
00:39You can see that the team's improving
00:42You can also see the shortcomings of where he was
00:45And making the right decisions on the field
00:47And in-game management
00:49When Ineos have brought him in knowing that these are his tactics
00:53And this is his philosophy
00:54To then not back him and ask him to change and be adaptable
00:57Seems a little bit weird
01:00I think frustrating
01:01I mean still hopeful
01:02Because you do see a bit of an improvement
01:04But he needed transfer windows to get the right people in
01:07And I don't think he's been fully backed
01:09I think he's been questioned a little bit too much
01:12But then your results make you get questioned
01:15And he's not helped himself
01:16I don't think the board have helped him
01:17I don't think he's helped himself a lot
01:19It's a big role
01:20You want a big character
01:21And a strong character
01:22And not necessarily someone that's just going to allow Ineos
01:25And the scouts to pick the players for you
01:28Because it's your job on the line
01:30And your success on the line
01:32So I think it will be a concern for future managers
01:35And I think it will be something that will definitely be put in any contract
01:39That's signed from now on
01:40That's a sign from now on
