00:00Hi, so I just recorded this video and had music playing the whole time on my phone
00:06and then went to watch it back and realized that all you can hear is the music, you can't hear a word I say.
00:15It's late on January 1st, the first day of 2026
00:20and I am entering into this new year, the year of the horse
00:26with some bad news about my concussion.
00:32A lot of you have asked how I'm doing, a lot of you have inquired about the brain scans that you heard I got
00:39and the results came back from the scans and almost every area in my brain
00:46is functioning at a decreased capacity.
00:50So, I do have brain damage from the CVI
00:54and possibly other factors going on
00:59but now my job is to get to the bottom of that with the doctors
01:04and then embark on the hard work of fixing it
01:10which I don't look forward to
01:12because I feel like hard work is all I do
01:16but that's okay
01:22My cognitive decline since I smashed my face open
01:27has helped me to slow down
01:30and helped me to have a more restful finish to my 2025
01:38I think this was the calmest, most restful Christmas holiday I have had
01:45maybe since I had children
01:47so 14 years ago
01:50so that's a good thing
01:52Feeling extraordinarily grateful
01:56and blessed to be able to play
01:59one more day, one more year
