What was supposed to be a routine pregame spectacle at the Armed Forces Bowl turned into a frightening moment when a parachutist crashed hard onto the field after becoming tangled in the field goal net at a Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident unfolded ahead of the 23rd annual Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. Several parachutists jumped from aircraft and descended toward the field, but one parachutist drifted too close to the net behind the goalposts, the structure designed to keep footballs from flying into the stands.
