At first glance, this animal looks like a woodpecker, but it is actually an Aardwolf. Calm, shy, and very different from what people expect, it doesn’t eat meat because its teeth are too weak to hunt large prey. Instead, it survives almost entirely on insects. Active mostly at night and hidden in bushes during the day, this rare creature’s lifestyle makes it one of the most unusual animals in nature.
