03:56And a lot of those times that's offensive rebounds
03:58or live ball turnovers.
03:59So take care of the basketball.

04:02On the offensive end, use the spacing to drive the paint.
04:06I'm really impressed with the bench
04:08bringing a different look.
04:09TJD being a dunker spot.
04:11Will Richard and D'Anthony Melton attacking the paint
04:14and really taking what the defense has given them.
04:17And then when you get to the paint, when you kick out
04:20all of a sudden you're looking at high quality three-point shots.
04:24Festus, Steve Kerr's talked about three games
04:27in three and a half days
04:29with this being an afternoon matinee
04:30playing 11, 12 guys in four-minute, five-minute bursts.
04:35When you came off the bench, you know,
04:37you had no time to really warm up,
04:39hey, ease into the game.
04:40What's the mindset in a short-minute burst
04:43for Guy Santos, Pat Spencer, GP2 players like that?
04:47When you come off the bench,
04:48your role is to try to find a way to make an impact.
04:50And a lot of those guys are younger guys coming off the bench.
04:54So their impact is going to be made with a lot of energy.
04:57Guy Santos, Will Richard, and TJD,
05:00it's defensive, it's getting steals, it's defending.
05:03And on the offensive end, it's getting dunks, great passes by them
05:07to each other to get easier shots and shots at the rim.
05:10All those things are what I've seen from them so far.
05:13And I love the fact that they're coming into the game
05:15and impacting the game immediately.
05:17That's what the bench is supposed to do.
05:18And that's why they have the top five rated offense in the NBA.
05:21And Festus, this Charlotte Hornet team
05:25is one of the best rebounding teams in the league.
05:27Diabate, man.
05:27Moussa Diabate is a rebounding machine.
05:30How much is a big are you saying,
05:32especially on the defensive end,
05:34hey, guys, if I'm coming to help you
05:36when your guy is beating you off the dribble
05:37when it comes to drive, you've got to help me
05:39because that's how Diabate is getting
05:42a lot of his offensive rebounds.
05:44Well, it's a full-team effort.
05:45And so if a guy, it's a trust thing.
05:47If TJD or Quentin Post is going to block shots,
05:50you've got to have the guards come in and crack the big.
05:53Make sure you get that rebound
05:54because those second-chance points,
05:56the Warriors have found that those second-chance points
05:59have given life to teams on the road.
06:02And you don't want the other team's fans
06:04to get into the game,
06:05especially because it's an early game.
06:07Let them sleep.

06:10Don't get them extra points to get them going right now.

07:56a rapport that a guy like Pat Spencer
07:58has when he comes in
07:59or De'Anthony Melton.

08:01let the bigs roll to the basket hard,
08:03reward them.
08:04You want to make teams
08:05respect your inside presence.
08:06And I think that'll help you benefit
08:08when it comes to a three ball.
08:09And when you score inside,
08:10they've won four of the last five games
08:12doing that.
08:14Now, Charlotte's a dangerous team
08:15because this is a team
08:16with four 20-point scores.
08:18They're 5-5 in their last 10,
08:20and they've hit on their last two draft picks.
08:22When you see guys like Conn Knipple,
08:24Brandon Miller,
08:26they can hurt you,
08:27and you better turn the water off
08:28on one of them.
08:29And Knipple is a sharp shooter.
08:31He gets that with moving without the ball,
08:33comes off the screen,
08:35but he can really score all three levels.
08:36He gets to the basket well.
08:38Really crafty.
08:39He doesn't think he's the most athletic.
08:40He can kind of sneak up on you athletically,
08:42but he can do it from anywhere.
08:44And then Brandon Miller,

08:46he's just an all-round scorer,
08:48kind of a smooth player.
08:50Longer than you think.
08:51He's longer than you think.
08:52Gets to the basket really easily,
08:54especially when he's on balance.
08:56He's really good there.

15:33So you can see that they struggle.

27:52P.J. Hall, undrafted out of Clemson, four-year college player.
27:55He was kind of the star of their summer league, or one of them.
27:58And they reward them with a contract.

28:07And when you think about James and Clark Brenner, who's out this game,
28:11and obviously Knipple, they're getting a lot of really good production there.

28:19So Charlotte takes the lead in the little three-quarter court pressure.
28:24That's because they've seen the Warriors struggle with that.
28:27Butler right down the lane, Quinton Post, his fifth three of the quarter,
28:30and he's three of five, and you'll take that all day.
28:34See, if you can break the pressure, you can get some good looks.
28:36You just got to keep your poise under that pressure.
28:39You're able to get in the paint, and Quinton Post is a good decision maker.

41:46You have to really be hamstringing yourself to be losing when you're shooting 58%.

41:53It's a struggle right now.
