00:00so pirates by digital playground was like the biggest at the time i remember going to the
00:06premiere actually it was a huge deal tell me besides yourself like who else started in it
00:13what your role was maybe a little bit about pre-production the whole thing because it was
00:18actually shot like on a pirate ship right like a sage pirate ship in tampa or in a in a in a
00:25bay in a port this like i want to say black pearl ship it looked like a pirate ship i guess i heard
00:31that it was the same ship that was using there was caribbean but i don't know if that's true
00:36i believe yes and mark uh mark bra bones uh who who you know finagled all that and worked that all
00:44out and did that those things the movie was actually it was a two two companies had come together
00:49out of an even digital playground so collectively they put all their contract stars in it and
00:54janine at this point had come out of the retirement so they put her in uh so uh digital playground
01:01digital playground put her in janine so it was janine jesse jane karma levana riley steel you name it the
01:07big stars were all on it same as the guys and it was a big big uh co-production between these two
01:14companies so we shot all this the deck action went to boat you know the exterior stuff no none of that
01:21stuff and i think what happened was they told the the people who you know were the you know the who
01:29took care of the boat and whatnot yeah we're shooting a some sort of uh yeah i heard there was drama
01:33educational something or whatever an educational it was like uh so they lied about what them yeah
01:40because i heard that the owners found out yeah yeah movie and like freaked out but by then we got all we
01:45needed and and so so we did that and then we end up come back to california and there is where we shot
01:52the the interiors of the cabin and where the sex would take place and whatnot and so what i meant
01:58what i was going to say was that movie really put me on the map i i got cast as the lead bad guy
02:04opposite of evan stone which is another like al pacino and you were stagnant right yeah i was stagnant
02:10right it was pirate stagnant revenge the first one was pirates second one second was stagnant
02:15event pirate stagnant revenge so the first one was great and there i was teamed up to have a shoot
02:23and work with janine which is crazy because back 10 years prior she was dancing with julia and doing
02:33an act called blondage you remember that oh i definitely remember yeah so i went to the doll house
02:39in in pompano beach to see him dance my friend was a dj i went and watched him from the crowd
02:46dancing this was before i was even in the business prior prior to you know i was living in florida and
02:51i was working at a bikini shop too making bikinis so i see uh i see anyway i see the two of them they
02:59perform i end up making a bikini to give it to him jump ahead 10 years later now i'm working with janine
03:03in pirates talk about a full circle yeah crazy crazy so now we're uh we're on pirates biggest
03:11they say hailed as one of the biggest productions ever in in the adult and i believe it's it's quite
03:16the quite the it might honestly be like i'm sure that now there's been movies that have cost more but
03:22i think in comparison to like what the dollar was worth at the time i still and also like i heard that
03:28they spent 10 million just on the marketing you know it's quite possible i don't know but what was
03:34kind of neat from that was they shot it over in our version well i shouldn't say it's edited in our
03:40version and one day i'm in blockbuster we all remember blockbuster i saw that too yeah and i tried
03:47to watch it and it doesn't make any sense because it was our version right they tried to you take the
03:53scenes out because there's like things that happen in the scenes or parts of the story like that don't
03:58make sense it made no sense oh that's funny but what was cool about it was there i was on a book on
04:05a box cover in blockbuster my face and additionally like you said the premiere was in egyptians grumman
04:12theater yeah in in in hollywood and it was literally like a a full-blown premiere of a movie yeah
04:21and there was one of my dreams come true i want to be on the silver screen one day and sure enough
04:25poof there we are in the theater watching and one of the mistakes i think they made which is not a
04:31mistake terrible but mistakes was they ran the full movie yeah so when this came on
04:39okay he's kind of looking at each other like really are we gonna we're gonna sit through
04:44i have brought this up so many times because i remember being there and laughing about how
04:50i'm sitting in a room with like 500 yeah yeah and everyone got weird when the scenes came on
04:57right like everyone was like he he like it got uncomfortable and i was like which is this is
05:03bizarre right what i would have done is maybe shorten them yeah in an edit and did a little premiere
05:08version but needless to say yeah there we were walking down this red carpet and paparazzis in the
05:13hole and it was just really just an amazing time and then i i won for supporting actor and so my
05:21second year was that was uh supporting actor and i want to sing with britney uh britney sky
05:28remember um yes yes i do and then michael ninn yeah yeah i won two awards for my first year i won the
05:36male uh newcomer second uh supporting actor in the sex scene with michael nin and then my third year i won
05:43male performer of the year i had nine nominations one male performer of the year and all these four
05:47other things so i kind of did really well fast yeah and i was just it was it was it was uh hard to
05:55believe it was like wow wait a minute what i you know and all i did really was what brad said yeah he
06:02says i got it i got it's uh advice for you i said what's that i'm waiting for some like profound advice
06:11you want to do well in this business i go yeah he goes show up
06:17and i go that's it he goes yeah but strangely enough to this present day some people still can't do it yeah
06:25tell me about it amazing tell me about it yeah it's just blows my mind yeah that people just can't
06:33show up and they'll still get hired you know i'll even hear it too from some directors like i know
06:40we're gonna take a chance on her again yeah i go i i've had three canceled scenes prior all back to
06:46back why are we doing this again yeah well because she's popular and they sell and i says but aren't you
06:52everybody's hoping like they catch that magic one you know like that magic moment like the one where
06:59she's gonna show up and then then it'll be a really popular scene but it's a lot of money to
07:05like have to cancel the scene everybody doesn't get paid and whatnot yeah so the pirates was great
07:10pirates one pirates two stagnated revenge two three years later came out and that was even a bigger
07:15success and so that's just it was just it was i don't you hear you see i have a hard time describing
07:24how amazing it was there was those years and then you know one year led to another and another and
