Any criticism of Malaysia's role as mediator to ease tension between Thailand and Cambodia shows pure ignorance, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

He also said accusations that Malaysia was not acting impartially was the perception of just one or two sceptics.

00:39Our position is, of course, to help mediate and ensure the cessation of hostilities.

01:00Those criticisms levied against us based on pure ignorance and prejudice.
01:08Because any decision, be it KL Accord, border meetings, then the border meetings,
01:15and meetings coordinated by our Foreign Minister, myself, and with the coordination of President Donald Trump,
01:22and now with Foreign Minister Wang Yi, all are done, consistent with the KL Accord,
01:29and with the understanding and full participation and finally full agreement by both countries.
