00:00As you know, I had an excellent phone call with President Putin that lasted for over two hours.

00:05We discussed a lot of points, and I do think we're getting a lot closer, maybe very close.

00:12The President and I just spoke to the European leaders.

00:17They were President Emmanuel Macron of France, President Alexander Stubb of the Republic of Finland,

00:25President Karol Norrocki of the Republic of Poland,

00:32Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stohr of the Kingdom of Norway,

00:38Prime Minister Giorgia Maloney of the Italian Republic,

00:43Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland,

00:50Chancellor Friedrich Mertz, the Federal Republic of Germany,

00:57Secretary General Mark Rutte, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization NATO,

01:05President Ursula von der Leyen of the European Commission.

01:10We spoke to all of those great leaders.

01:12They're all great leaders.

01:14And we had a great talk with them after we were completed.

01:17We thought it was appropriate to speak with them.

01:21And our meeting was excellent.

01:23We covered, somebody would say, 95 percent.

01:26I don't know what percent, but we have made a lot of progress on ending that war,

01:32which is really the, certainly the most deadly war since World War II,

01:36probably the biggest war since World War II.

01:39And I want to thank Steve Whitcoff, who's here,
