02:09is believed by some to be the site of two of history's most important divine encounters.
02:16The peak where the biblical patriarch Moses encountered the burning bush
02:22and the place where Moses later received the Ten Commandments from God.
02:29But what was the true nature of Moses' divine encounter?
02:34Was he a normal human, randomly chosen to deliver the word of God?
02:40Or did he possess a special gift, an inherent ability to communicate with otherworldly forces?
02:48Mystical literature from all over the world has accounts of visitations from angels, gods,
02:56some kind of supernatural creatures that interact and interfere,
03:01that represent some powers beyond our understanding.
03:05We see this in the Bible with Moses.
03:07He is just one of several examples of leaders who are guided by divine guidance,
03:13who really are getting the help of the gods into getting to their goal.
03:18In addition to stories of the prophet Moses,
03:20the Hebrew and Christian Testaments also feature similar accounts of numerous other prophets,
03:28including Elijah, Isaiah, Noah, Abraham, Enoch, and Jesus.
03:36Prophets are a major element in almost all ancient societies.
03:42These were people who functioned sort of as liaisons between the mortal world and the immortal world,
03:48between the gods and the humans.
03:50They have a message, which is a communication from God.
03:53But what's very interesting about that, it's not just a message.
03:56The presence of God is felt to be in the words of the prophet himself.
03:59So the one who hears a prophet actually is encountering the presence of God and not just a message from God.
04:05So if you have a prophet who is an authority figure in your community and he says,
04:10this god is upset about this, you need to do X, Y, or Z to placate this god or goddess, you did it.
04:18But was the source of these prophetic messages truly of a divine nature?
04:23According to ancient astronaut theorists, there is perhaps another possible explanation
04:31as to who or what may have been contacting these prophets of the ancient past.
04:38What we're beginning to realize is that this is not religious,
04:42but that these are people who have had anomalous experiences with entities
04:47and that this is contact with a non-human intelligence.
04:50Prophets and prophecies are evidence that these higher beings are instructing us
04:58to help create civilization for us to move forward
05:03and even to give us some warning of the future.
05:09This is what's going to happen.
05:10You need to get ready.
05:12Is it really possible that extraterrestrial beings made contact with the ancient prophets?
05:22Perhaps the answers can be found by looking further into the story of Moses,
05:28as written more than 3,000 years ago
05:31and chronicled in the Hebrew Testament's book of Exodus.
05:35Moses' first encounter with God occurs in the third chapter of the book of Exodus.
05:44Moses encounters a burning bush and God speaks to him out of this burning bush.
05:48And Moses was given a mission,
05:50and the mission is to liberate the Hebrews indentured in Egypt.
05:53The idea of the burning bush is very interesting to me
05:58because things like burning bushes really don't exist,
06:03especially if they all of a sudden give instructions.
06:08So we have to ask ourselves, what did our ancestors describe?
06:13And so the burning bush idea could have been a technological creation,
06:21which Moses described as a burning bush.
06:26Might the burning bush, as described by Moses,
06:30really have been an extraterrestrial device,
06:34a machine, or perhaps even a type of spacecraft?
06:38If so, then with whom, or with what, was Moses really communicating?
06:48Perhaps more clues can be found in the story of another equally mysterious close encounter.

07:00Some scholars and researchers believe that it was here,
07:04in the northeastern region of the Nile Delta,
07:06where the Israelites began their exodus
07:09and where Moses had his second divine encounter,
07:13this time with an incredible object in the sky.
07:18They were met partway toward their destination
07:22by what I would call a biblical UFO.
07:27In Exodus chapter 13, verses 21 and 22, it says,
07:31The Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud
07:34and by night in a pillar of fire.
07:36The pillar did not depart from before the people,
07:39meaning that it was always there.
07:43Well, what the Bible tells us is that it is the presence of God
07:46manifesting himself in a dramatic way,
07:49accompanying the Israelites.
07:51The question has always been asked,
07:53well, what was that cloud of fire?
07:55What is it?
07:55Is it God?
07:56Or, as the ancient alien theory suggests,
08:00it could have been some type of a craft,
08:02a beacon that they had to follow.
08:05The Hebrew people, they were following the object,
08:08and it makes it very clear
08:09that whenever the object was on the ground,
08:12the people stopped and camped.
08:15When it was taken up, they broke camp,
08:17and they moved forward.
08:19The object was leading them.
08:21In the description of a pillar of cloud and a fire,
08:25a pillar is cylindrical in shape
08:26and perhaps quite hard or solid.
08:30This is very similar to UFOs that are reported now.
08:33The flying saucer types are more famous,
08:36but the cylindrical shaped UFOs are very common,
08:38and they can be very large,
08:40up to a half mile in length, perhaps.
08:43Some students of UFOs think these are motherships,
08:46and the fact that it's a cloud by day
08:50suggests, as in modern UFOs,
08:53that there's some type of halo effect around the UFO.
08:57If we look at it in that context,
09:00perhaps the ancients would have described
09:02a gleaming UFO in the day as a cloud, a bright cloud,
09:06and they would have described
09:08a brightly lit UFO at night as a fiery pillar.
09:12Was this strange pillar of fire and cloud
09:15really a physical manifestation of God?
09:19Or was it an advanced technological device
09:22of an otherworldly origin?
09:25As far as ancient astronaut theorists are concerned,
09:29further clues may lie in the story
09:31of Moses' final divine encounter
09:33on the summit of Mount Sinai.
09:36Moses receives a message from God
09:39that he is going to land on Mount Sinai.
09:42So he gathers the nation of Israel around the mountain.
09:48This huge, bright, glowing cloud lands on Mount Sinai.
09:52And it's quite spectacular because it's surrounded
09:55by all sorts of preternatural phenomenon
09:57of the sounds of trumpets and clouds and fire.
10:01And the Jewish people are told to stay
10:03at the bottom of Mount Sinai,
10:05that Moses is authorized
10:08and you might even say protected
10:10by the pillar of cloud and fire
10:12so that he can go up there
10:14and everybody else can't.
10:17According to the biblical texts,
10:20Moses ascends the mountain
10:21and enters the glowing cloud.
10:24There, he communes with the almighty God,
10:27the creator of the universe.
10:29And after 40 days,
10:32he returns carrying the Ten Commandments.
10:36But for ancient astronaut theorists,
10:39the story of what happened on Mount Sinai
10:41may, in fact, offer compelling evidence
10:45of a very different type of encounter.
10:48Moses going up with God,
10:50being gone for 40 days,
10:52it sounds very much like
10:52the contactee experience today
10:54where contactees are given rules
10:57and regulations and ideas to follow,
11:01you know, in terms of elevating the human race.
11:04The commandments that are given
11:06go against our very animal nature
11:09because to some extent,
11:11what the Bible says is
11:13that God would will to give divine power
11:16to humans if we could handle it.
11:18But the problem is
11:19that we don't have the ethics to handle it.
11:21Thou shalt not kill.
11:23Thou shalt not commit adultery.
11:24Thou shalt not steal.
11:26The Ten Commandments
11:28are a start toward handling divine power.
11:32And the prophets were picked
11:34to be the spokespersons for powers
11:38that were trying to rule the world
11:40through rules and regulations,
11:43commandments that would bring about
11:45moral obedience,
11:47which is superior to following
11:49our animal instincts.
11:50Is it possible that Moses' encounter
11:54on Mount Sinai
11:55was not with the almighty God,
11:58but with some sort of extraterrestrial messenger?
12:03One that deliberately sought to guide
12:05and govern human behavior.

12:13and controversial notion
12:14is possible
12:16and claim additional evidence

12:20of yet another Old Testament prophet,

12:57One of the most important prophets
13:01in the Israelite tradition,
13:03of course,
13:03is Elijah.
13:05Elijah predicts
13:07some rough things coming,
13:09and of course they do.
13:11He warns of a drought
13:13that's going to devastate Israel
13:17and cause all this starvation.
13:20He also is interesting
13:22because he was never known
13:24to have died.
13:25And it's thought
13:27that in some ways,
13:28yeah,
13:28he was taken into space
13:30and lives for eternity.
13:34In Elijah's final encounter
13:36with God,
13:37written in the second book of Kings,
13:40the prophet goes up
13:42by a whirlwind into heaven
13:44by what's described
13:45in the Hebrew Bible
13:46as a fiery horse-drawn chariot.
13:50There's a story in Kings
13:52about Elijah
13:52who reported seeing
13:54this strange aerial phenomena
13:56that was described variously
13:58as sort of bright whirlwind-like
14:00cloud lit up,
14:02clearly some sort of object
14:04in the sky.
14:06Elijah's experience
14:07details a spinning object
14:10or a spinning beam
14:13that took him up
14:14into the object.
14:15We see a whirlwind
14:17that came over him
14:18and a chariot of fire.
14:20So the question is,
14:21was it the chariot of fire
14:23that was spinning
14:24or was it a beam
14:26that came down
14:27and took him up?
14:30For the faithful,
14:31this extraordinary event
14:33is believed to be
14:35a religious miracle.
14:37But could Elijah
14:39have been chosen
14:40by heavenly beings
14:41to fulfill
14:42an otherworldly purpose,
14:44as ancient astronaut

14:50is that the first story
14:52we can read about Elijah

14:55that he was taken up there

15:36a fiery chariot,
15:38and they get inside it.

30:29Nostradamus.
30:31Southern France,
30:421555.
30:46Here, a chemist
30:48and apothecary
30:49named Michel
30:50de Nostradamus
30:51publishes an
30:52almanac titled
30:53The Prophecies.
30:56In it, he writes
30:58more than a thousand
30:59four-line poetic
31:00verses called
31:01quatrains.
31:03Verses that seemed
31:04to predict the future.
31:07Michel Nostradamus
31:09at an early age
31:10began having visions.
31:12He would stare
31:13into the water
31:14in a bowl
31:14and he would begin
31:16to see visions
31:17of what he thought
31:18was the future.
31:20At the time
31:21that he was doing
31:22this, seeing into
31:24the future
31:24was considered
31:25witchcraft
31:26and he risked
31:28being called
31:28a warlock
31:29and being taken
31:30by the Inquisition
31:31and basically killed.
31:33So, what he did
31:34was he masked
31:35his visions
31:36in quatrains
31:37four-line prose poems
31:39in which he hid
31:41the future
31:42very carefully
31:43so that
31:44you wouldn't
31:45really understand
31:46the quatrains
31:48until after
31:48the event
31:49had occurred.
31:49Some people
31:51say that he
31:52channeled
31:53his prophecies.
31:55I think he just
31:56went into
31:57either a higher
31:58state of consciousness
31:59or a very deep
32:01meditative state
32:02and he was
32:03seeing things
32:05that he then
32:05would write about.

32:14Nostradamus
32:15has been credited
32:16with predicting
32:16everything from
32:17the Great Chicago Fire
32:19of 1871
32:20and the rise
32:22of Hitler

32:29in 1945.

32:33was able to
32:33access information
32:34which was not
32:35available to
32:36any of his
32:37contemporaries.

32:39as a visionary,

32:41a prophet,

32:42we want to give him.
32:45But perhaps
32:46the biggest
32:47unsolved mystery
32:48concerning Nostradamus
32:49is that no one
32:51knows the source
32:52of his mysterious
32:53powers of prediction.

32:57futuristic information

32:59spiritual power

33:37zero-point field
33:38where a collection
33:39of electric charges
33:41from every thought,

33:51that ever was thought

33:55energy

34:42so we wouldn't know

34:50that the zero-point field
34:51exists in another dimension,

37:29Prior to Einstein's
37:31theory of relativity,
37:34physicists tended
37:35to view
37:36the physical world
37:38as a static,
37:39immovable universe
37:41where everything
37:42was set
37:43into its place.
37:45The biggest change
37:47after Einstein's
37:48theories of relativity
37:49was how we viewed
37:50space and time.
37:52We thought of space
37:53literally as just
37:54what we move through
37:55and time is how you
37:57measure things going forward.
37:59And Einstein made them
38:00geometrically connected
38:01to each other.
38:02They were no longer
38:03fundamentally different
38:04and you had to account
38:05for them together.
38:06He showed that time
38:08and space
38:09were relative
38:10and that time and space
38:11can be warped

38:14that time travel

38:27that his profound knowledge

38:30as did the prophets

38:45at the universe

41:16and they are
41:19called prophets

41:25They are people
41:25who set out
41:26a path
41:27and really
41:27lead other people
41:28along this path.
41:30When you start
41:31looking into
41:32what they are
41:33you're beginning
41:33to realize
41:34that there are
41:35certain anomalies
41:36in the lives
41:36of these people.

41:40which they possessed
41:42which helped
41:43us guide
41:43along the path
41:45really is not theirs
41:47but that they somehow
41:48are messengers
41:49of a larger reality.

41:53could be communicating
41:54with extraterrestrial

43:02of a great mystic
43:03is really that
43:04he is somebody
43:05who has part
43:06of his being
43:08in this reality
43:09and part of his being
43:11in another reality.
43:14These are people
43:15who have had
43:16a foot
43:16in this dimension
43:18but also
43:18in another dimension.
43:19Prophets
43:25chosen by beings
43:27from other worlds
43:28and varying messages
43:30that have changed
43:31the destiny
43:32of mankind.
43:34Could there really
43:35be an ultimate plan
43:37that is
43:38as yet
43:38unknown to us?
43:41Perhaps
43:41the answer
43:42lies hidden
43:43still waiting
43:45to be discovered
43:46or maybe
43:48it will be revealed
