00:11And we're the co-founders of Holy Cap.

00:14We're the ones that wouldn't stop talking about mushrooms,

00:16and our mission to pack healthier ingredients into food for our pets.

00:19We're just pet parents who got a little carried away

00:21trying to make better food and treats for our own dogs,

00:23and that turned into Holy Cap.

00:25We just wanted to understand what we were actually feeding our dogs,

00:28and the deeper we looked, the stranger everything felt.

00:30So many labels that didn't mean anything.

00:32Ingredients we couldn't pronounce.

00:34The whole thing felt confusing.

00:35So we dug deeper.

00:36Articles, studies, documentaries.

00:38Anything that helped us make sense of it all.

00:41And we stumbled on Rodney Habib's TED Talk.

00:43Why don't dogs live forever?

00:45And the documentary Pet Fooled.

00:47And that's when our minds were blown.

00:49We started talking to vets, digging into research,

00:51and even flying across countries just to meet people

00:53pushing pet nutrition in the right direction.

00:56One of the biggest moments for us was attending Feed Reels Summit.

00:59We were surrounded by some of the most passionate

01:01and dedicated holistic vet and pet nutrition experts on the planet.

01:04The ones that inspired us to start Holy Cap.

01:06Their support and enthusiasm gave us confidence that we were on the right track.

01:10We also went through more manufacturers than we'd like to admit.

01:13Some were great. Some were questionable.

01:15And one was straight up a cult.

01:17But eventually we found a team that understood exactly what we were trying to build.

01:20A partner who cared about using only the best ingredients,

01:23sustainable sourcing and packaging,

01:25and producing products at the highest standard for the benefits of our pets.

01:29They even have a dedicated cattery with 30 cat employees

01:32that taste and quality test every batch before sending off.
