Suite à la victoire de Boston sur les Pacers (140-122), Joe Mazzulla, coach des Celtics, a fait l'éloge de Jaylen Brown après son huitième match consécutif à 30 points, ce qui lui a permis de rejoindre Larry Bird comme seuls joueurs de l'histoire de la franchise des Celtics à avoir réalisé une telle série.
