00:10Division Secretary Mohammad Yusuf Mohammad Yassin said the decision was taken after
00:14Puchong MP Yeo B. Yin failed to issue an apology within a 24-hour deadline.
00:21He said Yeo's remarks were deemed disrespectful, insensitive, immature and insulting towards
00:27former Prime Minister Datuk Sri Najib Razak.
00:30Mohammad Yusuf clarified that the decision applies only to the Puchong parliamentary seat
00:35and the Sri Serdang and Sri Kembangan state constituencies.
00:39On Tuesday, Selangor Omno Youth submitted a protest memorandum outside Yeo's office, condemning
00:45her statements and social media posts, which they described as rude, sarcastic and politically
00:51provocative.
00:52He stressed that the withdrawal of cooperation does not mean Omno Puchong is leaving the
00:57unity government at either the national or state level, describing the move as a local
01:02stance.
01:03Omno Puchong, he said, would act independently in the affected constituencies, with support
01:09for Pakatan candidates to be considered on a case-by-case basis.
