00:43We don't want to be petty, so we make a detour to Rudinau and find the place that is inspired by Scottish traditions.
00:50At St. Kilian Distillers, we produce single malt whiskeys using traditional Scottish equipment
00:57and combine this with German high-tech brewing engineering to produce premium liqueurs and premium whiskey here in Rudinau.

01:19We ferment the beer in our wooden fermentation vats to 8% ABV, so we're basically a brewery here.
01:31And the 8% beer then goes straight into distillation, where we distill it twice, as is customary in Scotland.
01:39And then we have our spirit, which is stored in barrels.

01:53This is made from pure barley malt and is inspired by Scottish tradition.
