00:00Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. I'm in Nigeria, Lagos, as part of the World Peace

00:06Movement to teach people how to achieve peace in themselves and how to give peace. Now Rasool

00:13Allah did not give da'wah, did not call people to Allah and the hereafter

00:19without giving them peace in their life first. And that started with fulfilling their needs,

00:26providing for them their necessities. There's no greater necessity physically than food. And in

00:33Nigeria, like many countries around the world, there is a poverty crisis where people are starving,

00:39they're unable to put enough food on their tables even for days. And so what this actually results in,

00:47in many occasions, is people are leaving Islam in order to find food somewhere else. We cannot come

00:56here and talk to people about the method of achieving peace while they have empty stomachs.

01:00And we have seen with our own eyes the result of people leaving Islam. And so we're raising money

01:08through the Berg Welfare Trust in order to provide a hundred packs that will feed a family of five for

01:18an entire month. And this pack only costs £50. That is really nothing. We might go on a night out and

01:26spend that. And that £50 might save somebody from leaving Islam. The situation is dire. And I will be

01:34here inshallah to oversee the distribution of these packs. And this fundraise is only on for about 24 hours.

01:45So we need to reach that 5,000 target as quickly as possible. Over here, they don't have the funds in

01:53order to mobilize quickly. They need the funds ahead to make the orders. So we kindly request from all

02:02the brothers and sisters watching this now to donate generously. You will not just be fighting hunger,
