00:01Ten days after the terror attack here at Bondi, a heaviness hangs over this famous beach.
00:07While the floral tributes have been removed, large numbers of people are still coming here to pay their respects and to also enjoy the beach.
00:15There's a large security and police presence here, and Sydneysiders have been warned that this will continue throughout the Christmas and New Year period.
00:22And while New Year's Eve events usually planned for Bondi have been cancelled,
00:27many locals and visitors alike are still planning to spend their Christmas day here on the beach.
00:32I've been coming here every day since, and I've been coming here every day before then.
00:37This is my home, this is my backyard, so I won't stop doing that, that's for sure.
00:42You can't give in, you can't let them win. You have to carry on as normal.
00:46I think we're going to make a lot of tiramisu and bring it down and give everyone at the beach some tiramisu.
00:51So, a little gesture to the thank you to everyone showing so much support, to the community impacted,
00:57and share a bit of love, because that's how we fight back.
01:00Meanwhile, local businesses are opening their doors again and urging Sydneysiders to help them get back on their feet.
01:06The Federal and State Governments are offering grants of up to $25,000 for those businesses that have been affected by the Bondi attack.
