The Wayfarers Trust commissioned Canadian artist Colleen McLaughlin Barlow to create an 8-foot tall outdoor sculpture called 'Fin' on the John O'Groats Trail next to Freswick Castle.
The translucent resin sits on a boulder-like plinth and contains the pectoral flipper fin of a Minke Whale. It looks like a giant human skeleton hand from a distance.
