01:46Mi personaje es Varane, que es una tipa de mucho dolor, que ha sufrido una gran devastación.
01:55Su naturaleza, toda su forma de vida, su familia, todo fue destruido por un volcán.
01:59Entonces ella hizo lo inimaginable y fue al fuego y aprendió del fuego y se volvió su discípula
02:07porque ahí encontró una seguridad.
02:12Y entonces para mí ella es una persona que no ha sanado su gran dolor,
02:16que tiene una gran tristeza, un gran llanto adentro de su corazón

02:41¿Qué fue tu opinión sobre tu recepción de los fans de la semana de la semana de la semana de la semana?
02:46Well, it was great.
02:50You know, you have such an amazing movie history.
02:55There's so many great films, so many kind of mystical films and unique.
03:01And your filmmakers are extraordinary.
03:04So it's, you know, it's a different experience coming to a country where you still believe
03:13in a lot of the, I think, the myths of your origin, etc.
03:18And your connection with the ancestors and these things that are related to your connection
03:23with nature here, which I think is very strong.
03:28And so to see that combined with the enthusiasm of your fans and the sincerity of the fans,
03:38the excitement of the fans, is just a joy.
03:42You know, I feel so lucky to be here and get to experience that.

04:39nos podemos identificar con Grant de cierta manera, el dolor que estamos escondiendo, ¿no?

05:12¿Tú cuál dirías que es el rol que viene a desempeñar Avatar?

05:29También, o sea, es como que, es un ciclo, es un ciclo vicioso
05:34que hasta que no entremos en la mentalidad de como de sanar, de curar, de aceptar
05:43y de renovar nuestro compromiso con la vida, no podemos quebrar esos ciclos de destrucción.
05:52Entonces, en cada, en cada personaje se ve esa, esa gran dinámica.
05:57El, el, Avatar es un, es una película que nos une, en realidad,
06:02porque cada persona en el cine se vuelve Navi.
06:06O sea, todos somos azules, al final, de Avatar.

08:52uh, as I think Jim realized that Curie was a kind of key to all of us finding Ewa, um, and it
09:04is, you know, a blessing that we do get to see something of her and that she, she doesn't
09:10close her ears to us, um, and the power she has even though she's been very remote from me completely.
09:19Mm-hmm.
09:20Um, but, uh, I'm so glad that Curie gets that far because it's really been hard, I think,
09:27for her, a real struggle.
09:29There is a very powerful phrase from Luak's character that says something like,
09:35the fire of hatred leaves only the ashes of pain.
09:39Um, after more than 15 years in the Avatar universe, living in the Pandora world, what would you
09:47say is the main contribution of this franchise?
09:50Gosh, that's rather a big question.
09:53Um, I, I can speak to what Jim hopes.
09:58I think he hopes that by giving, first of all, a very entertaining movie, but that is about
10:05many things we're facing here on earth, uh, racism, you know, the power of guns against,
10:12uh, um, people just trying to live their lives.
10:16There are many things that are, you know, protecting your fellow creatures.
10:20I think he, he realizes that it's, and one of the reasons I think he made the Navi people
10:25blue is we leave our world where we're not as protective, or at least our governments are
10:33not, or our corporations are blind to it.
10:37And we go to this place and see some of the destruction that's being caused by the single
10:43mindedness of someone like Quaritch and, um, and the innocence of, uh, and integrity of
10:51the Metcayina people.
10:53I think you, you come out of it with this huge experience that's so much fun.
10:59But it, you also makes you think, am I doing enough?
11:05You know, at what point do I say it's time to fight?
11:09And um, you know, I, I guess, I, I think he hopes that, you know, when we open people all
11:15over the world, we'll be seeing it at the same time.
11:18And hopefully, you know, it'll be like wood sprites in our lives, reminding us that there's
11:24much, much more we need to do, and we're running out of time.

11:30De cara a lo que podría ser Avatar 4 y 5, qué crees que le depara a tu personaje?
11:36Yo quiero, yo sé algunas cosas de lo que tiene imaginado James Cameron al momento, porque todo puede cambiar, y él tiene la capacidad de hacer mil más si la gente quiere verla, si la gente va al cine, ¿no?
11:50Pero para mí me gustaría seguir explorando esa relación de cariño que están haciendo adentro de ella, de tener de repente cariño, y quién sabe, ¿no?, lo que va a pasar, pero la estrategia también es algo nuevo para ella.

13:01Well, 4 and 5 are so amazing, I really hope, we have to hope that the movie makes enough money to make it worthwhile for Disney, because these are expensive movies. We don't use AI. I feel pretty confident that I wouldn't have seen it four times if it wasn't incredible.
13:19As for, and the other part of the question was, I am, I've stayed friends for years with Walter Hill, who is, is, is really understands the voice of Ripley, and I don't know why, I haven't really wanted to go back to this series,
13:38but for some reason I feel like her experiences have something to say to us now, and I'm curious where she is, I'm curious how she's managing, and what her perspective is.
